Everything about this property was top-notch! I’ve never seen such meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the customer experience and satisfaction.. From the moment I walked in, the hotel blew my mind with its stunning design, impeccable service, and thoughtful amenities. It felt like I got so much more value for my money than ever before. Having booked through Booking.com over a hundred times by now, and this is the first time I’m compelled to leave a review - says it all! I JUST HAD TO.

Loni at reception was fantastic! We arrived earlier than check-in time and she was able to find us a room, as it was my birthday and she was so kind. The rooms were beautiful, with a spacious shower and comfortable beds. The rooms were equipped with irons, hairdryers, and coffee and tea sets. It was a fantastic choice for my birthday and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was perfect too, within walking distance of Liverpool Street station and Brick Lane. I will definitely be coming back again!

The Dorchester is more than just a hotel; it's an institution, a beacon of elegance in the heart of London. Our recent stay was nothing short of extraordinary, exceeding all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined luxury. The staff's impeccable service was discreet yet attentive, anticipating our every need. The surprise upgrade to a suite was the cherry on top, transforming our stay into an unforgettable experience. The suite itself was a masterpiece of design, exuding timeless elegance with modern comforts. The spacious layout, plush furnishings, and breathtaking views of Hyde Park created a serene and indulgent haven. Every detail, from the exquisite linens to the state-of-the-art amenities, was meticulously curated. Beyond the luxurious accommodations, The Dorchester offers a plethora of world-class dining experiences. We indulged in afternoon tea at The Promenade, a truly delightful affair with delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an array of delectable pastries. The ambiance was simply enchanting, with live piano music setting the perfect tone. The hotel's prime location, just steps away from Hyde Park, provided easy access to some of London's most iconic attractions. However, we found ourselves reluctant to leave the comfort of The Dorchester, as it offered everything we could desire.

The location is amazing, the hotel very nice and clean, and the staff were amazing. We only stayed one night (and were given a very unexpected and much appreciated upgrade to a suite), but enjoyed the spa and the breakfast and would more than happily stay here again. Also, the hotel was excellent value for money compared to other hotels in the Mayfair area (nearly 1/3 of the price) and I don't know what the other hotels could provide extra that would justify the higher price.

London is a beautiful and vibrant city.

London is a beautiful and vibrant city. There are many places to visit but also many different cuisines to try out. High recommendation is to visit Borough market and Sevel dials market for the different variety of food besides just fish and chips or the usual chinese food in China town. Visit the Thames at night and watch the city light up and look more gorgeous than during the day. You just have to watch out for pick pockets in the main areas. I didn't feel safe around crowds- keep your wallet and phone as close under your arm as you can.

The location was perfect for flying out the next morning.

The location was perfect for flying out the next morning. We did choose to pay for the shuttle to Terminal 5, rather than haul our luggage on the free train. It's a very nice hotel, the room was small but comfortable for 1 night, and the beds were fine, though a little on the firm side as the English seem to like. We had a very nice Indian dinner at the Urban Brass conveniently located in the hotel lobby. The Indian choices were authentic and delicious, not overly spicy as Indian food goes. I think the Indian choices are better than the English side of the menu, as it is primarily Indian with a very friendly staff from India. I would recommend this hotel.

An update to my previous critical review, which was uploaded on 29 April. On 2 May, I received a message from the owner, apologising for the non response, advising that their colleague had found the hearing aids but "hadn''t told them." The owner sent a photo of them, then on my confirmation that they were my hearing aids, posted them to my home address, sending a confirmation of proof of posting. Delivered today. It does leave one or two questions, but the way the owner has acted since my review was posted is commendable. I think Booking.com may need to check a few things. The telephone number on the confirmation is the one the owner responds to when arriving, but subsequent calls to that number elicit the response that it has nothing to do with that property. The communication in the last few days comes from a different number.

I found barking very convenient for traveling into London.the station is right on the high street and it's a short journey into the city.the prices in barking are a lot cheaper than London too and there's plenty of shops and cafes in barking to keep you entertained. All in all I would recommend staying in barking especially if your on a budget.the dreams hotel is cheap and good. Which is only bout 2 mins from train station.plus there's a place at 76 longbridge road where you can stay.lovely ensuite rooms with a shared kitchen which is always clean and tidy.its on the high street bout 3 mins walk to train station.

Richmond is a wonderful town, with plenty of entertainment such as theatres and cinema, especially Richmond Theatre on Richmond Green. There are plenty of wonderful walking routes and parks, Richmond Royal Park is beautiful. Loads of fantastic Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. Excellent transport links across London and wider areas. Richmond can be expensive, but is worth the extra costs for a short break.

Brentford has been upgraded beyond recognition in the last...

Brentford has been upgraded beyond recognition in the last 10 years and especially in the last 5 years. It has become one of the very beautiful and upmarket locations along the River Thames and opposite the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew - a world heritage site - and in the immediate proximity to famous Richmond and its historic palaces and cultural sites, picturesque town centre and equally famous RIchmond Park. Bearing in mind that this is less then half an hour away from the very centre of London, it is a really great location for a holiday, even a city-escape and offers more famous landscapes, River and green walks than probably any other borough in London. Yet it is much more tranquil than any place closer to London with a host of nice new restaurants and cafes.
