Large rooms, super clean, modern. Needed space to stage my new ski touring setup. Picked this place because the rooms are bigger than other comparables in Aviemore. It was all true! Lots of space to spread out and arrange my gear. Bathroom faucets / sink is deep so could easily accommodate a Nalgene (really annoying when places have cheap setups so you have to fill your water bottle with the cap) Lots of plugs to charge stuff where you need it. 2 x large coffee mugs (can accommodate cereal :) 2 x whisky tumblers 2 x drinking glasses 1 x small fridge with a mini freezer that works (for a mini freezer) Super clean. Very centrally located.

The view from the rooms and the restaurant were breathtaking. Every aspect of the service was flawless. Our bottom line is that it is difficult to say whether the Isle of Skye is a reason to stay at the Cuillin Hills Hotel, or the Cuillin Hills Hotel is a reason to visit the Isle of Skye.

I've wanted to stay here for a couple of years now, and I finally got the chance during a trip with my brother. It was amazing. The view is amazing, the dinner and breakfast was lovely, the rooms clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge with a drink near the fireplace. A special thanks to Connel in the restaurant, who is an absolute asset to this hotel. They are very lucky to have him - he knows how to provide excellent service!

This is an all inclusive type vibe. We only stayed the night as it was well located in between 2 of our planned outings. It's ideal for those driving around. The food has variety, it's buffet style in a nice ambiance. For those with young kids, this is an ideal getaway spot... lots of activities. We were travelling no kids, and it was pleasant for us too. Nice pool. Forest surrounds compound.

Our place was just down around the corner from great restaurants and shops. The ferry is docked there. Fishing boats and guided tour boats. We were lucky enough to have car so we drove out to the lighthouse which was picture perfect. On our way home to our home away from home (CEOL MARA) we stopped by chance at Rhueart Gallery . A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.
