- From US$365.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,550 reviewsWe had a perfect stay at the hotel and can’t wait to come again. We travelled as a little family with a 4 year old daughter. The reception was really friendly and welcoming, just like all staff members that we met. The rooms are huge, all facing the sea side and are well equipped with big comfortable beds. The bathroom is big and clean and the hotel provides free amenities outside of the rooms, in case you run out of tea, cookies or soap. Really perfect. The restaurant is directly next to the shore, you get a great view of the Loch. The food was the best we’ve had during our stay in Scotland. we had fresh (huge) mussels for a very reasonable price and the restaurant staff cared so much for our well being. Also breakfast was just delicious. It’s a classical Full Scottish and cereals. The breakfast was incredibly well prepared, everything was fresh and tasty. The spa area was nice and clean as well. Pool and whirlpool had the ideal temperature. In the evening it was totally empty and we had the area for ourself. Some other commentators wrote that it felt old and outdated. We liked it a lot, everything was well maintained and much better than some other modern hotels we stayed in. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time.Guest review byMartinGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 1,564 reviewsWe stayed for 3 nights - 4 adults and 3 young kids and we had a wonderfull vacation. The place is amazing. The house was big, clean and had everything you need for a long stay - big livingroom, long big table, full kithcen with dishwasher, 2 bathrooms and showers, washing maching and also a sauna and a balcony. The 3 bedrooms were big and comfortable. The place has free pool, gym and souna which is great, especially when you are with kids. Also great fields and grass for the kids to play. Wifi was good and ofcourse free parking. Location is also great near Avimor, easy base to travel around.Guest review byadiIsrael
- From US$363.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,245 reviewsFor what I think is a 3 star hotel, Glen Mhor is a cut above the rest. We loved the cleanliness of the rooms, the well done furnishings and the lovely linen. The river view room was big and the bed was extremely comfortable, with the river view being better than expected. The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely welcoming. The continental breakfast buffet paired with an al a carte hot breakfast offering added the extra level of Luxury you don’t get from your general 3 star hotel. We never thought anything of Inverness but we will definitely be going back just to stay in this amazing hotel!Guest review byBradleyIreland

Only had a day there but went on a boat trip in the morning. Nice little shopping centre and the church was worth a visit. Lots of shops, pubs and eating places. Had a very nice dinner at Crannog restaurant. We were too late to see the Museum as it was just shutting at 4.00 pm.Guest review byAnitaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I love this neck of the woods.
I love this neck of the woods. Plenty to do if you are an outdoors person or just want a break from busy places. It is a nice laid back location where there is a lot less hassle. Lots of nice food places - either restaurants or take-aways and plenty of shops where you could buy your own food if you don't want to go out. Highly recommended. If the weather is not so good there are plenty of lovely places you can drive to within 45 minutes.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Our place was just down around the corner from great restaurants and shops. The ferry is docked there. Fishing boats and guided tour boats. We were lucky enough to have car so we drove out to the lighthouse which was picture perfect. On our way home to our home away from home (CEOL MARA) we stopped by chance at Rhueart Gallery . It was truly wonderful to meet James Hawkins , artist supreme .Guest review byBarbCanada - 8.0
Skye is beautiful but expensive.
Skye is beautiful but expensive. Lodging is hard to find, expensive. Restaurants are crowded. The weather is..the weather. We hit lots of rain. People told us unusually bad for September. But so much to see there.Guest review byRogerUnited States - 2.0
A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart...
A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.Guest review byStephenHong Kong - 10.0

Beautiful scenery. Brilliant trips on the Loch Ness Cruises. Plenty of places to visit. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, gift shops. Fascinating watching the boats going up and down the series of locks. It certainly was not a disappointment.Guest review byMccormack - 10.0

Broadford is well located to travel across all Skye, but also not too far from the bridge of Skye to reach back to mainland. It has a supermarket and some restaurants. A walk on the shore is beautiful.Guest review bySimoneSwitzerland
