Fabulous city, easy going , feels safe and friendly even late on a Saturday night. Eden Court Theatre , great venue saw the Budapest Cafe Orchestra there who were brilliant entertertainers. Lovely River Walk along tbe Ness. Beautiful Botanic Gardens with great cafe. The Glen Mhor Distillery and Brewery was a great place to chill out and listen to live music. Great beer and whiskey too, taster platters were amazing. The Jamaican restaurant called Kool Runnings served up a fab goat curry and a very much appreciated Mojito 👌Guest review byDiana - 10.0

Our visit was to walk Ben Nevis and we managed to do this. Short taxi drive to the start. Great restaurants. We went to the restaurant above the fish and chip shop, Indian and the Tavern restaurant. Also the sports bar was handy to watch the football.Guest review byPaul - 8.0

Aviemore is obviously a town built around tourism, and so is fairly expensive, and not particularly historic. But it has all the necessary facilities, with a good choice of bars and restaurants, and its in a great location to explore the Cairngorms.Guest review byrussjacoUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Like much of the north-west, Ullapool has become expensive...
Like much of the north-west, Ullapool has become expensive following the promotion of the NC500. There has not been a matching increase in quality in some places. Despite the extra visitors and a major recent upgrade to the sea front area there are still empty shops on the front. If this is to remain the premier tourist stop for the north-west it needs someone to give it a bit of a shake. Very sad really, Ullapool is a lovely village and need looking after.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Skye is beautiful but expensive.
Skye is beautiful but expensive. Lodging is hard to find, expensive. Restaurants are crowded. The weather is..the weather. We hit lots of rain. People told us unusually bad for September. But so much to see there.Guest review byRogerUnited States - 2.0
A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart...
A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.Guest review byStephenHong Kong - 10.0

Beautiful scenery. Brilliant trips on the Loch Ness Cruises. Plenty of places to visit. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, gift shops. Fascinating watching the boats going up and down the series of locks. It certainly was not a disappointment.Guest review byMccormack - 10.0

Broadford is well located to travel across all Skye, but also not too far from the bridge of Skye to reach back to mainland. It has a supermarket and some restaurants. A walk on the shore is beautiful.Guest review bySimoneSwitzerland
