There is a big parking local to the hotel. We were warmly welcomed. The room (sea view) had a good size. The view directly towards the seaside was stunning. The king bed was comfortable and had two separate mattresses. Perfect for a good sleep. We had a drink in the local bar and dinner. There were several ales on tap. The food was very delicious, among the best I had in the past few days in Scotland. The Restaurant was very busy also with many outside guests. The staff was very friendly and passionate about their work. I felt honored to be a guest.

The room we stayed in was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Skye's stunning landscapes. The highlight of our mornings was undoubtedly the delicious Scottish breakfast served in the restaurant. Not only was the food exceptional, but the restaurant also offered breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty—a truly serene and memorable experience.     Perfect hotel - outdone all 4 and 5 stars hotels I've stayed in in my life. Amazing staff that couldn't be more helpful and accommodating, perfect location right in Portree centre overlooking the iconic view, absolutely all comfort amenities such as bath robes, slippers, toiletries, water bottles in the room. Perfect cleanliness and everything is high quality. You can tell that people owning and working at the hotel really put heart and soul into everything they do as every little detail was though of. Our room was spacious and warmed up for when we arrived late. When my friend forgot earphones in the hotel, staff kindly mailed them back. Delicious food in the hotel restaurant too and it's very conveniently open later than all other places in town. Huge thank you to everyone at Bosville for your amazing work!

We loved the character of the building, and most of all the view from our room of the port was incredible (recommend getting a top story room)!     The room was in a great location, with a view of the sea and hills (and the sunset). We were greeted by a lovely and friendly golden retriever as we parked the car. The room is spacious, includes mini-fridge, glasses and cups, kettle, hair dryer etc. so all the essentials. I would further recommend to anyone staying in the Isle of Skye.

    Dunvegan was quite central to travelling across Skye for our various planned activities - whisky tour, puffin tour, walking Quiraing, Fairy Pools and Old Man of Storr. The two shops had enough for the grocery essentials and there were several cafes and restaurants to provide choice. The castle was interesting though a bit pricey.

    Sconser is quite small but it is central to most of Skye and the Raasay ferry is on your doorstep (lovely walking at the north of the island and up Dun Can, lots of eagles, Brochel Castle, a distillery). The village is set back on a road parallel to the main road and houses look forward to the sea and Raasay and backwards to the mountain Glamaig (great views both ways). The Sconser Lodge Hotel has a cosy bar with open fireplace. Their restaurant is open to non-residents when they can cope with numbers so nip in and chat about available dates well in advance.

    A trip here needs time to enjoy the environment around and at the hotel. It is not very near a large town but a village is not far away. But that also makes it special. Make sure to get there during daylight as the roads leading to the hotel are not highways. The food was delicious and well proportioned. We wanted to stay there for longer.

    Peaceful area, definitely need own transport. Ferry just a 10 minute walk / 2 min drive which is excellent for early ferry times. Scenery is amazing and less busy than other areas. About a 15 minute drive to Broadford with a good range of facilities.

    The property was beyond clean was spotless leaving shoes at porch and wearing supplied slippers seamed unusual until you noticed the level of cleanliness then made perfect sense. There was nothing to complain about everything was great hosts the views absolutely perfect would stay again in a heart beat. The area was lovely views spectacular close to everything
