Interesting castle and priory church. Very good main museum, didn't have time to see the others. Good walks round town and by river. Good choice of restaurants; Turkish restaurant excellent. Good centre for visiting area, good transport links.Guest review byFletcher - 10.0
Great variety of shops, cafes, restaurants & bars.
Great variety of shops, cafes, restaurants & bars. We had two evenings meals at the Trevino Lounge. The first outside & the second indoors. The Thai curry was great, as was the Tapas & being a coeliac, I was impressed to be given the most extensive gluten free menu to date. The GF warm chocolate brownie & ice cream was delicious. They also had a twin cocktail offer. We caught the bus into St Annes square on Saturday & did some shopping & had a coffee & cake break, before getting the bus back to Lytham. We only had a couple of minutes wait for the bus, on both journeys. The morning we departed, we had a lovely cooked breakfast at restaurant called Zest.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
It's a seaside town, family friendly without being too busy.
It's a seaside town, family friendly without being too busy. It's not what I call a nosey place by any means. I can't get over how clean it is. The council do a tremendous job. The promenade goes for a mile or two and is well kept, with items of interest, including a statue of Eric Morecambe which brings back happy memories for me. It really is a pleasant town and seafront with tremendous views across the bay towards the Lake District and it's hills.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brilliant Diamond Star Stay!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brilliant Diamond Star Stay! From the moment we arrived, everything about this accommodation was exceptional in every way. The place was spotless, the cleanliness was second to none and truly impressive. The food was superb, full of flavour and beautifully presented, making every breakfast a real treat. A real highlight was the signature homemade compote with yogurt, it was absolutely to die for! The hosts were absolutely brilliant, warm, welcoming, and always going the extra mile. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their genuine care made our stay feel extra special. What struck us most is that the photos simply don’t do this accommodation justice (and they are impressive). It’s even more stunning in person, with an atmosphere that has to be experienced to be believed. A true gem – we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. A brilliant diamond star of a stay!Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Very pleasant pine lake resort. Everything spotless. Good restaurant with varied menu. Very relaxing. Really appreciated that there were no dogs on site. Didn't visit Carnforth but went to Arneside which is a lovely village including a great fish and chip shop. Ideal for visiting south lakes.Guest review byDoreenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Just ask more questions before using their other facilities so you have all information in hand. Reception should share more information on arrival. They have a good pool for people who love swimming and sauna. I enjoyed it very much.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The hotel was a complete surprise - lovely room with great views and our car right outside. Very snuggly bed, truly lovely staff, really nice food too. The only slight blip was the outdated bathroom however, it was still better than others we have stayed at (why do some venues only offer a tiny sink?). Overall, very happy to return, and for much longer. Exceptional value.Guest review byGillianUnited Kingdom
