Feels like a fairy tale city.
Feels like a fairy tale city. Very lovely, walkable as long as you can manage hills. Tone of history, so do your homework before you go, and you'll get more out of it. Taxis reasonable, people lovely! I did a walking tour of the city walls which was most enjoyable. Lots of good places to eat.Guest review byMsCanada - 10.0

It was a great location for touring the Causeway coast and visiting Derry. The shopping centre in the town was great. Every shop you could imagine. Enjoyed eating in the restaurant called Coopers - recommend. Petrol in most places at around £1.25 a gallon - liked thatGuest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Portstewart has the most beautiful beaches
Portstewart has the most beautiful beaches It also has an area with a small outdoor pool. Have always enjoyed coming to Portstewart. Beautiful walks and restaurants and the promenade which is particularly busy at the weekendsGuest review byElaineUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Didnt really see much of the town itself, but it seemed pretty rundown and tired. Restaurants closed early and were very average (nothing to write home about) However, Limavady is very well placed for getting to other places, and easy walking distance from our property to plentiful shops and restaurants which was good.Guest review byPaul WinnanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

What a lovely home which has been renovated to a very high quality but has kept many of its historic features! Very comfortable and relaxing a few minutes from town but far enough away that you feel rural and in a hidden escape! The hot tub was a welcome bonus and just further encouraged relaxation. We were met on arrival by the lovely friendly hosts who were more than hospitable and made our stay begin with a positive start. We will definitely be backGuest review byDenisUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The city is lovely the people are friendly and the riverwalk on a sunny day is a great way to keep fit. The city is so clean. We walked everywhere to make sure we didnt miss anything. We had breakfast at Patricia's on the riverwalk which is exceptional value and quality and must be visited.Guest review byGerryUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Castlerock is a small village but is obviously a much better place to visit in the summer months, there is a lovely beach nearby within walking distance from the studio and the train is also a short distance away, there are quite a few good restaurants within about 5/6 miles away, so if you want to explore the area you would need a car to get aboutGuest review byJohn - 8.0
Walsh's hotel was lovely.
Walsh's hotel was lovely. The people we met in Maghera were lovely and very helpful and gave a very positive impression of the place. Maghera is located near the centre of the province of Ulster and therefore is an ideal location to explore anywhere. There is a great bus service to both derry and belfast if you want to use public transport. Maghera is a vibrant , well kept small town in the Derry countryside - at present there is some of the footpaths dug up as the town is getting some renovations completed but this did not cause us any disruption.Guest review bymartin jIreland - 10.0

Garvagh was lovely, I particularly enjoyed the forest and it was central to a lot of amazing attractions. There were lots of places to eat, the only thing that disappointed us was that none of them appeared to be dog friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and the views were absolutely phenomenal.Guest review byKatie
