- From US$124.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,508 reviewsThe location and premises were great. I enjoyed having a nice pint of cider at the bar. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I am not used to the British cold so it was really nice to have a space heater in the room. There is a lot of restaurants and a Supermarket/mall a couple minutes away. The tram is less than 10 minutes away, and the buses even closer. If the opportunity to return to Sheffield comes, this is the first place I’ll look for a room. Thank you Garrison!Guest review byAlbertFrance
- From US$70.23 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 4,915 reviewsThe hotel is in an excellent location. The car park is just behind the hotel. If you want a cooked breakfast, Weatherspoons is 50m from the hotel. It was very busy the night we were there, but our stay was perfect. A bed with a bathroom and toilet ensuite. If you're looking for a "special night" this is not your place. But if, like us you are looking for a hassle free base, this is the place.Guest review byRedmum89Spain

I only came to see my friend who started to study at the University. But it was really nice surprise how the city was nice. People are very friendly. I love the old buildings, old church, and the new architecture, all nicely mixed and nicely done. I also love the tram. I felt the city was really safe. Lots of nice restaurants and pubs. I also found very reasonable guesthouse with the parking. This guesthouse made me to stay longer in the city. the size of the city is just right. Not too big. Not too small. I am looking forward to going back next month to explore more.Guest review byMidJapan - 10.0

There are so many pubs, bars and restaurants in Chesterfield! Lots of choice which is great. There are also good shops in town and in the out of town centres. You are only 15 minutes drive away from the countryside as you head out of Chesterfield towards Matlock and Bakewell. Chatsworth House is a short drive away.Guest review byAliH68United Kingdom - 10.0

it is a small town with character and charm with a great selection of independent bars and restaurants and pubs , where you can eat drink and be merry. It's close to very picturesque countryside with a wealth of walks and places of interest too.It is a lovely place to visit what ever the time of year although in the summer months it can be busy but not as much as nearby Bakewell.Guest review bypaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The Castle is in the centre of Bakewell so very convenient for exploring locally. Chatsworth House is only a few miles away and a great day out. As evening meals are served in the pub, guests can choose to eat in the welcoming atmosphere, but eating fish and chips on a seat by the river is just as romantic!Guest review byBarbaraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Small town, as a good base-location to walks to Mam tor (and back), the various Caverns (ticketed entry mostly), and the Cave Dale - a beautiful picturesque rocky trek with extremely steep slopes either side. Nearest train-station is at Hope which is a little over a mile's walk. Views of Mam Tor and sorrounding cliffs are amzingly breathtaking from this town.Guest review byKunalUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Stockport´s location in a ravine with a Victorian viaduct towering overhead makes for a very unusual and intriguing town. Also most interesting are the timber frame houses one finds from Tudor times. Lots of pubs and not generic ones either.Guest review byDominic - 8.0
