The service and staff were just perfect. The room spacious as we got an upgrade. The Blas restaurant serves very good food, we had two times dinner and a nice afternoon tea there. Sitting in the garden was lovely on a sunny afternoon. The location is perfect, only some minutes by foot to the city center.

It was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a gentleman, probably in his sixties or seventies, at the reception. He had such a warm and welcoming presence—he might have been the owner. With a friendly and caring attitude, he made us feel right at home, providing us with all the information about breakfast and showing us to our room. The room itself was very charming, and the area of Temby is simply beautiful. The food in the area is amazing—I highly recommend this experience!

It’s always great to visit Tenby with its beautiful beaches and many eateries. The Dennis cafe is always a favourite of mine and a crab sandwich from the little cabin in the harbour. I always follow the coastal path from north beach to Saundersfoot with stunning views of Tenby harbour and the beaches in between the two towns. I rewarded myself with a Guinness and a fishy lunch at the Royal Oak in Saundersfoot and must admit to have taken the bus back to Tenby. It’s a short and pleaser journey for £2 only….. the climbs and descends on the coastal path are a real good workout but can be challenging for some people.

    Lovely place to visit.

Lovely place to visit. Parking was very close to the beach but limited spaces. Had to drive around for a short time before finding a space. Cost of parking a little more expensive than parking in town. My daughter and granddaughter have coeliacs disease. The Boat house pub was an excellent place to eat. Had a menu with a number of tasty dishes suitable for them.

A pleasant little town with a range of places to eat.

A pleasant little town with a range of places to eat. There were lots of interesting places to visit and walk to in the vicinity. Some towns and beaches eg, Tenby and St David’s, get very busy so it’s worth going to places where you need to walk a bit if you want a bit more space, peace and quiet. Some beautiful gardens eg, Colby and Upton Castle Gardens, and historic sites eg, Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, are well presented and definitely worth visiting. Walks around Bosherston Fish Ponds were delightful. We had an excellent boat trip to Skomer and Ramsey islands from st Justinian’s.

Milford Haven having a small working harbour & marina is a nice relaxing area for a short break. There’s lots to explore nearby including Tenby & Saundersfoot and the Pembrokeshire countryside. Within the town is also a McDonald’s & Costa Coffee, so great for food & drink on the go. The marina adds a bit of interest with its few shops & restaurants overlooking it. Will definitely come back here…

Newport was recommended to us by several people. In spite of the wet weather we enjoyed our trip. Pretty village, interesting shops including Ffynnon, amazing selection of books, candles, art and much more. Great places to eat especially Lys Meddyg. Beaches nearby. A good place to visit, quiet and peaceful but it was early Autumn. I imagine it gets very busy in summer, but children would no doubt love it 😊
