- From $329.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,233 reviewsThis place is an absolute gem and offers excellent value for money. It’s located in a stunning spot right on the loch, providing beautiful views. The cottage was spacious, impeccably maintained, and spotlessly clean. It had everything our family of four needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The spa and pool were wonderful additions to our stay. A special mention goes to the staff—everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. In particular, Wanda, the receptionist, went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience.Guest review byNivIsrael
- From $148.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 373 reviewsBreakfast was delicious with home made granola, and bread with lovely home made jam. The full scottish breakfast was superb. The conservatory was a beautiful place to eat and to view the gorgeous well kept garden (to which guests have access). The house has been beautifully furnished and much thought has been given to the interesting art. The hosts go absolutely above and beyond to make their guests comfortable and nothing was too much trouble, even down to the variety of gins in the honesty bar! Would definitely recommend.Guest review byHeatherUnited Kingdom

I've always loved Edinburgh, it's got something for everyone and has a great vibe. The addition of the trams since I was last there adds to the travel options. Leith is and always has been a personal favourite, was a good 25 years since I was there and it's changed so much, some of the character has been lost where traditional buildings have been demolished to make way for new flats etc, but still a great area to visit.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

I travelled to Glasgow to attend a concert ( Half Man Half Biscuit at the o2 ) , to meet up with some friends , and to visit the Riverboat Casino . I was also there to pay a visit to my sister and her family , who live in Renfrewshire . My friend and I ate at the Blue Lagoon outlet in St Enoch's Square shopping centre , which was quick and convenient . But couldn't be described as anything other than fast food , in fairly uncomfortable surroundings . We stopped for a drink in Hootanany's on our walk across the Clyde to the enjoyable gig at the o2 . I went to the Riverboat Casino afterwards , and enjoyed a small win . I booked a taxi from there back to my hotel , and retired for the night . Everything went well . I should mention that the breaded haddock was very good at the Blue Lagoon .Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Interesting tourist-oriented town with plenty to do in the vicinity especially if you like the outdoor life. A choice of restaurants including the Tavern where there’s good, no-nonsense traditional cooking such as mince and mash, and chicken breast stuffed with haggis served with mash and a warming whisky sauce. The trip up the mountain in the gondola just outside was also a highlight . The view was shrouded in low cloud at first but gradually cleared to reveal a fantastic panorama.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Oban is our place to catch a ferry to the islands and where we land on return. It is a busy town, the harbour and Dunollie being our chief interest the short time we are there, watching the ferries and other vessels sailing off or returning to harbour is always a pleasure. As such it always has an air of excitement about it, the anticipation of a ferry journey amongst and to beautiful islands. Therefore it is always a pleasure to be in Oban.Guest review byAlisonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

V & A and the Thata restaurant for afternoon tea. Hop On Hop Off bus but a miserable unhelpful driver unfortunately. Stop off at the Law and walk to the top as views spectacular. Walk by the river. Botanic garden beautiful quiet place to relax but sadly no tea room. Broughty Ferry worth a visit as nice water front with castle and RNLI.Guest review byMaureenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Aviemore has a great buzz about it – a proper gateway to the Cairngorms with a strong tourist vibe that makes it feel lively year-round. The high street is packed with outdoor shops, from big names like Ellis Brigham and Tiso to smaller independents, so whether you’re after hiking boots, ski gear or a new waterproof, you’re well catered for. There’s also a good mix of cafés, pubs and restaurants, which keeps the place welcoming after a day outdoors. It’s the kind of town where you instantly feel in “holiday mode,” with a steady flow of visitors giving it energy without losing its Highland charm.Guest review byAndyUnited Kingdom
