The room was very nice; very clean and tastefully designed. The hotel also has a very nice restaurant attached and I had a very nice lunch. The shower was easy to work; the "bay" window had a large area to put bags etc out of the way and the bed itself was very comfortable.

Absolute perfection the whole place. Stayed there as a family for Tina Turner tribute. The organisation was incredible. So family friendly. The walk back through the zoo to the hotel was so well supervised, lights everywhere, staff every few meters making sure everyone is safe. Next morning went to kids play area fully energised. The hotel parking is very close to the actual hotel so packing up the car was no trouble, big trollys available if needed.. Everything was so nice, pleasant, well organised. Usually family get away especially last day is chaos but staying at this facility it is just so well worth the money. Very lucky to have this in Yorkshire.

The location was excellent. The cleaners were not only excellent but also incredibly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our food in the pub. Once again the staff were welcoming, warm and professional. The stay was excellent value for money. We needed a stopover on our trip to my daughters wedding in Northumberland. We liked the fact the kings chambers is located a short distance from the motorway and that there are plenty of amenities around the hotel. Well done, this will now be our stop over hotel on our trips up North.

    I was born in Sheffield so it is always a pleasure for me to come back i think it is great what changes have been made to the city and look forward to coming back soon and I would definitely stay at the Leopold again my second time staying there the staff are very nice

    Easy to find clean and friendly. Super dog friendly but could have done with a bit of a dog run or enclosed garden. Great parking and basic menu. Not really a holiday destination but a fab overnighter.

    I liked the pool and gym.

    I liked the pool and gym. But the usage time could have opened a little later. You really need a car if you want to get around but plenty of parking space. The car park could have more lights as at night its quite dark especially if you're walking alone. The hotel was very nice. The breakfast staff were amazing and very friendly.

    Not keen on Wombwell main area but a train away from Pennistone, lovely walk to nearby village of Hemmingfield for a canal walk and a nice pub of The Elephant & Castle also a nice fishing lake walk 2 mins from this cottage

    Lovely main house and grounds bar and seating very good . Food was OK expected better for money but we did arive late to be fair . Main hotel very reminiscent of your every day hotel needed some character. Gym very good 👍

    Friendly staff, easy to access straight off of A57. Ask for a fan in hot weather , rooms get very hot. Resteraunt has nice choice and there are bar snacks. Close to sherwood forest, Roche Abbey, rothervally country park and Gullivers kingdom.

    I was able to walk to the places I wanted to see. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the views from Cubley Hall as well as Midhopestones. I have decided that I wish to return due to a family connection next year.

    Beautiful with amazing shops, restaurants and wine bars. We ate in the Italian Zizi and shoped in Womacks which had the most beautiful lamps, wall art and furniture, everting is so close together so it’s all in walking distance,

    All the Staff and food quality were excellent.

    All the Staff and food quality were excellent. Upgraded to a suite at a cost of £178 Per night. Incl breakfast. Room was in need of redecorating , floor needed hoovering as covered in glitter. Coffee machine wouldn’t work. General cleanliness of room was very poor. Roman blinds had dropped . No hot water for shower or wash at 5 pm. Bed mattress topper was lumpy. No means of drying towels in bathroom. Television came on by itself at Midnight at really high volume ! Would have been disappointed at half the price! Needless to say we will not be returning.

    I only came to see my friend who started to study at the University. But it was really nice surprise how the city was nice. People are very friendly. I love the old buildings, old church, and the new architecture, all nicely mixed and nicely done. I also love the tram. I felt the city was really safe. Lots of nice restaurants and pubs. I also found very reasonable guesthouse with the parking. This guesthouse made me to stay longer in the city. the size of the city is just right. Not too big. Not too small. I am looking forward to going back next month to explore more.
