This is my first choice to stay whenever I visit my nephew in Bristol: great rooms, excellent service , superb location, lovely ambiance and atmosphere, incredible views whether over the park or the cityscape. This time it snowed during the first night of my stay so I ended up getting tanning “before and after” photos of the lovely views from the room

The staff were extremely helpful and kind. I had a fall, not on Ibis premises but on Lidls. The staff rang 999 and started to clean my head up where I had an "egg" that was also bleeding. The staff couldn't have been kinder.

    Lovely old character building in a fantastic location, minutes walk from all the cafes, shopping, restaurants & pubs that are on offer in Clifton Village & very easy walk to The Clifton Suspension Bridge. All the staff that we have met are helpful, friendly & efficient. A variety of rooms to choose from & a good breakfast if you need it. Parking is also a huge bonus. We will be staying again this week, our 3rd visit in the last couple of months & will always be our first choice on our next visit to Bristol.

Decorated and furnished to such a high standard, with everything you could possibly need and set in such a picturesque location. The hot tub was amazing!

    It's a city steeped in history with many interesting attractions and things to see and do. Dining options are eclectic and reasonable value for money; we ate well. Transport is efficient and reliable with the railway station giving many options to travel from Bristol to other cities of interest. The 90 minute service to London is excellent although it is busy.

    I did not meet any staff on either arrival or departure but had previously spoken to the owner on the telephone who was most helpful. I notice you have a lovely photo of a property in Redhill which people might think is Hathway House! A better map based on walking from the airport is required. Loved the rocking chair & custard creams!

    Lots to do and see for such a small place. Great for walking (as long as you don't mind hills) and the castle is spectacular and well worth a visit. Some excellent real ale pubs and plenty of good cafes too.

    Almondsbury Village is an attractive village with a pub and...

    Almondsbury Village is an attractive village with a pub and community shop. The Swan Hotel up the hill, on the by pass road (A38), does good meals. There is a lay by to see the views over the Severn estuary and both bridges from the top of the hill leading down to the village. If you are staying in the hotels on the bypass it's a challenging walk both to cross the dual carriageway and walk up and down the steep hill down to the village.

    There was nothing much where we stayed in the actual village...

    There was nothing much where we stayed in the actual village but a Garden centre was nearby for breakfasts and a local store for snacks and drinks and anything else we needed. We spent the day at a wedding held at Tortworth Court which was absolutely excellent for facilities, gardens, views and services. Very beautiful!

    Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away from the hotel was not great, some pubs were shut or not serving food and the Hungry Horse has a policy of shutting at 10 pm every day other than weekends - loads of Charity Shops but not much else however the easy access to Bath and Bristol by train make Keynsham a good place to stay if wishing to explore the area.

    You could clearly see that renovation was being undertaken the front looked charming and the restaurant was very comfortable and food very good. On arrival it didn’t feel welcoming and when we highlighted a broken piece ce of furniture the attitude to it was lack lustre. I can clearly see the potential for this to be a hidden as the town is picturesque.
