- From $209.73 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,045 reviewsWOW when you see the location. The hotel sits on a side of a hill that overlooks the lake and lake's valley. View is absolutely magnificent. THe same we thought of the hotel - just as if we transferred to the beginning of the 20th century. TYpical mountaneers style, with lots of timber, evening chill coming from the lake and that special mist that sets when the sun goes down. Our room was cute, cozy, stylish and very comfortable. We both adored the seat in the window sill with cussions and a tea tray. Breakfast was a feast to the mouth and to the eyes since the tables overlook the lake. Stay there at least a couple of nights to get a better impressions and feed yourself with the great atmosphere.Guest review byMike OkonPoland
- From $216.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 758 reviewsThis gave my wife and I a chance to stay in a proper quirky Manor House. What was surprising was the award winning Indian Restaurant operating also in the house, which has been voted in the top ten in UK. The food and service was amazing and the hallway gallery with the awards and press clippings for the restaurant and the history of the house back to the 1700's. Our room was huge with a beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed and big windows to open. We slept well. This has certainly been a highlight of our trip from Australia. The staff were just great, friendly and chatty and Ollie the cat at reception thinks he is the owner of the Manor.Guest review byGeoffreyAustralia

The Tea and Coffee set up also had Hot Chocolate and cookies. Delicious!! The Staff was wonderfully pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and again!! The people were so nice and friendly! Always ready to say hi and have a short conversation with you! Everywhere was pretty much accessible via walking which I loved, and uber rides weren't too expensive at all. Attractions like Cardiff castle, and Cardiff Bay were highlights I would recommend to all visitors.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

A beautifully kept town of gleaming hotels, litter free, plenty of parking, lots of shops, cafes set amid the beautiful Welsh countryside. Lots to do but the best thing is to see a UK holiday resort looking so good as they all should. No deterioration here.Guest review byBrelfanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I went for one night to see a football match, but had a wander round in the afternoon. Saw old ruins of a castle by the river but it looked all shut up and there was no boards stating if it were accessible. Nice new concourse on the riverbank by the millenium bridge, but some parts of the older town near the station are a bit seedy. Plenty of the new breed of town dweller,( foreign, young, male and unemployed)Guest review byJIMUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It’s always great to visit Tenby with its beautiful beaches and many eateries. The Dennis cafe is always a favourite of mine and a crab sandwich from the little cabin in the harbour. I always follow the coastal path from north beach to Saundersfoot with stunning views of Tenby harbour and the beaches in between the two towns. I rewarded myself with a Guinness and a fishy lunch at the Royal Oak in Saundersfoot and must admit to have taken the bus back to Tenby. It’s a short and pleaser journey for £2 only….. the climbs and descends on the coastal path are a real good workout but can be challenging for some people.Guest review byMartienUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Aberystwyth is a lovely seaside town with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit! Very easy to walk around, and the scenic railway is great. We enjoyed walking along the promenade and it was very safe to explore the town in the evening,Guest review byAlisonNew Zealand - 10.0
Loved Betws-y-coed! Such a pretty place.
Loved Betws-y-coed! Such a pretty place. Quite small but lots of independent, quality shops. Nice places to eat and drink throughout the day and the evening and it felt very safe to walk around after dark. Road network is good, we had no problems finding parking spaces (our accommodation had no on-site parking), some was free on street parking but when we had to resort to designated car parks, they weren’t extortionate which was a nice surprise. Would quite happy return there againGuest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Everything about Conwy is so beautiful , including where we stayed . The only down side is finding a good place to eat in the evening , a lot of the places we visited from our stay in march 2025 and more recently sept 2025. Not very good quality of food , small portions for a very high price , one of our best meals was actual in a lovely bistro , after visiting snowdon .Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Plenty to do in this lovely Welsh town. A trip over the aqueduct, a horse drawn canal trip. Try the Dee Side cafe for amazing meals and excellent coffee. They are especially good with dietary changes too. Nothing was too much trouble.Guest review bySueAustralia - 10.0
You can never have too long in Llanberis area!
You can never have too long in Llanberis area! The mountains & lakes are stunning, and there is so much else to explore too. Snowdonia has a magical quality to it that makes it so special. Llanberis is also a great base from which to explore outlying places e.g. during my trip, as well as completing my main goals of climbing Snowdon and Tryfan, I took daytrips from Llanberis to Caernarfon and Anglesey on one day and Llandudno & Conwy on the other, visiting castles, National Trust properties and beaches on teh way. The various driving routes to and from these places back to Llanberis were a joy in themselves. The nearby Pen-y-Gwryd hotel is so interesting, steeped in mountaineering / Everest history - although it was lovely to have the place almost to myself to look around, it is a shame it is not promoted a bit more as a place to visit for a cup of tea / place to stay.Guest review bySerenaUnited Kingdom
