- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 4,178 reviewsThe Genting is honestly such a beautiful hotel and it's really neat how it's in the middle of basically a shopping center/mall aka the Resorts World. If you stay at the Genting Hotel, you can be sure there's plenty for you to see and do! There was even an arcade kind of thing with fun and cool looking machines and games at the Resorts World and plenty of restaurants too, just to name a few examples! The breakfast at the Genting was good too! The twin room we stayed in is the biggest twin room I've ever been in, and it was very clean and comfy too! I'm being honest when I say it was absolutely perfect for me and my father! There were so many amenities as well, such as a hairdryer with a cold air feature and an iron + rack!! And I absolutely adored the bathtub! I haven't been in a bathtub since I was a kid so being able to experience a bath again after so very long was very nostalgic, haha! The bathroom itself was also pretty big and NOT cramped and tiny! We stayed at the Genting for a nearby convention which I plan on returning to each year and after my stay at the Genting, I wouldn't ever choose another hotel and will always choose this one! The staff were incredibly friendly too!Guest review byYukiNetherlands

The staff members were very always very helpful when I needed them. The lobby is also comfy to sit in. Cosmopolitan, but really friendly.
Cosmopolitan, but really friendly. Lots of interesting places to visit - notably the Jewellery Quarter Museum (take the tram) and the Back2Backs Museum (by Chinatown). Obviously, fantastic shopping in the Bullring and many other shopping centres etc and the Gas Street Canal area was interesting (probably even more so at night when it really comes alive!). With the recent death of Ozzy Osborne (Black Sabbath) there's plenty of 'memorials' to him currently. If historical and cultural buildings are 'your thing' then there's plenty to see and do. We were surprised by the significant amount of 'open spaces' for the residents/workers of Birmingham to relax in the centre of the City. Don't overlook Birmingham as a city centre destination!Guest review byDonaldUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11.
Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11. the 24/7 bar and kitchen was a pleasant surprise as we didnt get in until 11.30pm from the concert. Breakfast was good but not as good as other IHG hotels I have stayed in. Less choice and the coffee machine that day was not working.Guest review byFrancesSpain - 10.0

Lovely city with the cathedral, art gallery and transport museum to visit. They continue to make improvements to the city centre, and walking around there is really pleasant with the water features and plantation. Plenty of choices to eat and drink.Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 6.0

We travelled all over the UK and Ireland, and Wolverhampton was a disappointment. Whereas people were friendly to us in almost all the cities we visited, Wolverhampton folks, in general, were neutral or dismissive.Guest review byMarkCanada - 10.0

A fantastic welcome and excellent service at the bar by ever cheerful and helpful Shannon. Food was fresh and excellent. Pricing strategies a bit confusing because u had to join and download the app! Food & Drinks were too expensive on the normal menu. However happy hour was very reasonably priced. 😊Guest review byMarcUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Good hotel for the price I paid can’t complain at all in fact will recommend and will be return customer for sure. Entrance from the main road to the hotel is bit confusing but I am sure after one wrong turn it will be managed . Breakfast was good had all the options available. Hot sausage Vegan option is available which I did not know at the time of stay. It would be nice to add halal sausage as well Beds were comfortable very nice and clean room but body lotion can be a good addition to the collection.Guest review byJamilUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The village is just a short walk from the guesthouse.
The village is just a short walk from the guesthouse. The village is interesting with a large village pond, village green with a monument to cyclists, two grocery stores, a chemist and two really good pubs that do food. Lots of footpaths and the odd thatched cottage are in the neighbourhood. It's about 9 miles from the NEC. The bus service seems to be good too. We had an excellent evening meal at the Strawberry gardens. I suggest booking a table in advance though, they were very good and fitted us in on a very busy Friday night. It was a later dinner than we'd hoped but it was good quality food and service.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom
