- From $175.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 6,509 reviewsEverything! I guess first and foremost the location, but the rooms, especially the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are maybe a little dated, but somehow this just adds to the charm for me. Then the staff are first class. Everyone on reception was extremely polite and helpful with everything I asked. I want to give a special mention to the young man Josh, who worked nights, whom I very much enjoyed talking to. Give that lad a pay rise! Thanks for a truly enjoyable stay, and I’m back there again this weekend for the final two nights of my trip.Guest review byDuncanUnited States

In Leeds we had a pleasant ride on the water taxi to the Armouries Museum which was really interesting. We then enjoyed a leisurely walk back into town along the canal/ river path with lots to see. It was a short visit and we would like to return. We took a train to Ilkley from Leeds on one day- only half an hour and you are in the moors.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Bradford is a city from the past, run down whilst attempting to be modern, too many tastes to please... Having said all that it is my CITY, I was born in a Bradford suburb went to school there and love it as the place of my birth and childhood. It used to be a proud City now it is a shadow of its former past. Why it can be considered as a 'City of culture' is beyond me... All its history and magnificence is compromised all its character has been replaced by extremist ideologies that DO NOT WORK in harmony and certainly are not on the same page. INCLUSIVITY intentions RESULTS IN EXCLUSIVITY in reality... Revisit history where you can, the Town hall is a very fine building, St Georges Hall and the Alhambra are steeped in history and grand days. The Midland Hotel and Great Victoria need returning to their splendid past, alas as with most things years of damage perhaps means that is impossible. What next 'decent public transport in and out of the city centre would certainly help!!!!Guest review byAlan & KateUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Huddersfield doesn't have the best of reputations, which is a pity. I think that it's an absolute gem. The buildings are gorgeous, particularly to one who looks, such detail and reference to the industrial past. From the entrance steps to the railway station, one can see a lion and a prime minister. If you roam and keep your eyes open, there is so much more. I ate at my hotel. i travelled by car,Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

One of the best places to go for walking, views and fresh air.. lovely to shop, lots of independent shops, enough bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from, it's a shame it' was quite in the evening and we had to dash around to find a place serving food after 8pm (pub) or eat in a restaurant ,but we did stay midweek.Guest review bySharronUnited Kingdom
