SpainI had an amazing experience at Nereides Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are huge, spotless, and very comfortable, with unbeatable views of the sea and surroundings.
The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the breakfast was outstanding — fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety of local options. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on Alonissos.
Highly recommended!

CanadaOur stay was fantastic. I don't know from where to start, from the tastefully decorated rooms to the little details, the super friendly staff, the breathtaking view over a quiet bay, the idyllic little walks to the closest restaurants and beaches. Everything but really everything was perfect.
We felt at home the minute we walked in. Mary and Angelo were always there for advice or even for a little chat. The rest of the staff, Christina, Andreas, Adonis, James, and everybody else were accommodating all of our wishes with a smile on their faces.
The location of Yalis couldn't have been better, quiet but not isolated. The pool was with salt water, and the pool bar had everything you needed.
The breakfast had good variety and overlooked the sea.
We are definitely coming back to Yalis.

The grounds the hotel is located on are exquisite, the pool was incredible, the private beaches (yes there are multiple) are stunning with crystal waters and well situated to offer good protection from wind/waves. They're made up of small pebbles which means no sand to clean off and no seaweed either. But bring your water shoes because without them, the pebbles can be painful to walk on. That said, the best part of the resort was the staff. Kostas and his team were extremely attentive to our families needs. A special thank you to Lela and Stefanos at the pool bar who catered to our every need despite being extra busy with a wedding that was going on at the same time as our stay. And an extra big THANK YOU to Christina for the lovely souvenirs for our children:) The house cleaning was on point and made sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay. The all inclusive option was excellent value for us. Delicious food options offered all day and again the service was exceptional. Drinks are available all day (10 am to 11 pm) I read many complaints on this site about the drinks being inconsistent/subpar but our experience was quite the opposite, very smooth service and consistent pours. From the moment we arrived, Dimitris made us feel incredibly welcome. He is a fantastic host – kind, attentive, and always available for anything we needed, yet respectful of our privacy. Everything was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and we especially loved the peaceful garden and the relaxing atmosphere. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into every detail of the property. One of the absolute highlights was the private jacuzzi on our terrace – the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the island. Enjoying the warm bubbles under the stars, surrounded by the scents and sounds of nature, was simply magical. The location is ideal – quiet and surrounded by greenery, but still very close to the main town and some of the island’s best beaches. Dimitris also gave us excellent tips on where to go and what to see, which made our experience even better. We truly felt at home and didn’t want to leave. The hosts are great, they take care of anything you want. We have eaten very good fish catch by them the same day. They make a great saganaky with shrimps. The breakfast is very good, you have a lot to choose. There are several beaches at 10-15 min by car. Sandy beaches, rocky beaches, the water is blue and clean. The island is beautiful, very green, wonderful beaches. The village is super cute and overall it is a fantastic place with loads of history. Would definitely recommend it for people who wish to have a peaceful, easy going and relaxing holiday! Ideal for couples and families. Some of the restaurants could use an upgrade on the menu. Nice quiet location, close to nearby markets and a very good souvlaki / gyros place - very tasty and very good value. If you like walking, Milia beach is not far and Spartines is perfect on a calm day. In Patitiri the restaurant we liked most was Bacco. This is authentic Italian with beautiful pasta and pizza, prepared by the very pleasant Italian who provides a good range of beautiful Italian wines at modest prices- wines that have been well cared for despite the heat of summer. Alonnisos and Patitiri is one of our favorite islands in Greece. This is the fourth time we have visited the island and there will be another visit next year. Here, life still goes smoothly, little stress, not overcrowded with tourists. And then they have the "best" Greek restaurant "OSTRIA" we have experienced in our 29 years of holidays in Greece. We loved the old town and the beaches were gorgeous. The amazing smell of the wild fig trees was amazing as you drove around the island. We were only disappointed with the port town of Patitri which was a bit rundown. We felt 2 nights in Alonnisos is perfect. Middle to end of May was so very quiet and peaceful, you need car to get around to the many beaches and fishing ports, Old Town and wonderful restaurants. It was a little cold at the start of our trip 21st May and we needed a fleece for the evenings. The sea was fresh, but warmed up towards the end of May. If you want quiet, peace and relaxation a great place to visit in early or late season. If you want a little more then visit July / August where it is much warmer, the bars are open and it much busier, with sunbeds on the beach and music in many bars on the beach. If you want to enjoy some Spa Treatments, Lunch, Cocktails, then visit Infinity 180 / The Amani 180 - need to book.
