If you want to stay in an intact modernist hotel from the 1970s, then hotel Idillion is definitely recommended. The entrance hall is still completely intact: reception table, separate telephone booth, monumental staircase surrounded by lots of light. The rooms have been completely renovated and air conditioning is available. The hotel is immaculate and very well maintained. It also has a nice and cozy outdoor terrace. The manageress is exceptionally friendly and still serves her guests herself. The village is also quite authentic and in the evening it is very picturesque to stay in it and also has some very good authentic Greek restaurants. Hotel Idillion is definitely recommended!

    We absolutely loved the location of this resort – with the majestic mountain rising beautifully in the background and the crystal-clear sea stretching out in front. The stunning contrast created such a serene and visually satisfying atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The food was also amazing! The breakfast pancakes were simply perfect. The Trigona dessert was a highlight, truly one of the most memorable sweets I’ve ever tasted. The gym was also great to use. The staff were very friendly, which added to the overall great experience ))

    Amazing hotel for its price point. Beautiful green territory, nice beach, large pool and animation team. Biggest kudos go to the chef who manages to cook amazing dishes, the variety is limited but guests should understand the rate of All Inclusive they pay and how much they get in return. I was very happy there with my family and child. Definitely recommend for relaxed perfect vacation!

    The location is amazing and the beach is beautiful and certainly popular! The food is really tasty, well priced and there is plenty of choice of where to eat it. Beds were comfortable. Having a fridge in the room was a major bonus. Set Aircon on auto and it worked a treat. We recommend.

    Convenient location close to the airport 20Euros pickup from the airport and 20E return. Our apartment was 8-10 minutes from food locations which really was only one restaurant open on a Monday night - I expected more choice. Though we were happy with the food we bought.

    We showed up at 11:30 PM even though the property had been told check-in was at 10:00 PM, but for the owner was ok for our late check in. Once inside, 1 noticed the air conditioning wasn't on and pointed it out to the owner. He then decided to cancel the reservation in the middle of the night, thinking I couldn't leave a review. He threatened to call the police, and we had force to leave the apartment at 1:30 / 2:00 AM, found a taxi and reserve an hotel near the airport. The owner thought it was funny. It was the meanest thing they could do to me, and I'm already taking legal action.

    My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here.

    My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed. It’s a beautiful little town with the beach being so close too.

    Very quiet place to rest after your cruise! Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again ! Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !

    Felt safe to walk around as a solo traveller, not a lot of shops but it has everything you need for a short stay. Lovely views, perfect if you like swimming in the sea. Really close to the airport without feeling like it. Not hugely busy even in the middle of summer, perfect for a quiet getaway

    Not a lot to do in the direct area around the hotel , apart from watersports. Taxi 30 mins to ferry in Lavrio takes you to the island of Kea. Also different direction to cape sounio for Poseidon temple, which is worth a visit.

    There are several very good restaurants with various and delicious dishes close to the property. It is possible to enjoy a smashing sunset from the balcony (which was extremely spacious). All in all it is a great value for the money.

    If you're having problems with walking, you should think twice, from the rooms to the beach and pool is not far away, but if you're old enough to have some difficulties with steps and walking, be careful. Other than that, for kids, for adults, a perfect place... Beach, sea, pool, everything was so good.
