    Everything was exceptional . The room unexpectedly was a great size with a balcony that had a side view of the beach. The breakfast had a great variety of things to choose from, eg. eggs cooked 3 ways, pastries, fresh fruit, and all fresh and tasty. On the last day, the island lost power, but they still managed to feed the entire hotel with no fuss. The standout though is the staff, especially Werner, who is so friendly and helpful. Immi was amazing as well, always running around making guests stay comfortable. The lady at the bar was awesome, along with the whole cleaning crew. Would definitely be my choice to stay when we come back.

    Loved our stay at NJV Athens Plaza! This 5-star hotel in Syntagma Square is a total gem. The location’s perfect—steps from the Parliament, Plaka, and metro. My Acropolis-view room was stunning, with cozy bedding and a luxe bathroom. Staff were super friendly, hooking us up with an early check-in and great tips. Breakfast was a feast, and the Explorer’s Bar had awesome cocktails. Freshly renovated rooms were quiet and stylish. No gym, but they’ve got a deal with a nearby fitness club. Highly recommend this spot for a classy Athens getaway!

    It's easy to reach hotel from airport via metro, station is right next to the hotel. My room had a decent sized balcony, perfect for smokers. Breakfast was really nice with a lot of options and everything tasted good. Even though there was a taxi & metro strike staff was very helpful and arranged a transportation.

    Athens is so vibrant and alive, you can fall in love with the vibe on the market, see the historical sites, enjoy the food and ice cream experience all the way. the city doesn't sleep much, you can eat, get ice cream, drink, do grocery up until late night. it is definitely lovely

    We flow in two days before sailing out for our cruise. We planned the hop on hop off bus from Piraeus to Athens. Which the first day we spent the entire day in Athens. Visited all the highlights of Athens by taking the HOHO BUS. The tour started at 8:30 am ended at 5:30 pm. Then the second day we walked Piraeus on foots which is a beautiful city, lots to see. We shopped and ate at a few of the restaurants, Went to the marina and and sat and enjoyed the relaxing vibes. Tip- make sure you wear comfortable shoes at all time, due to the hills, cobblestone street, and uneven pave, dress in breathable clothing. We were there from Sept 18th 2025 and it was still warm the highs was 82 degrees low at night 59 degrees.

    Convenient location close to the airport 20Euros pickup from the airport and 20E return. Our apartment was 8-10 minutes from food locations which really was only one restaurant open on a Monday night - I expected more choice. Though we were happy with the food we bought.

    We only stayed for one night before our flight out of Athens. Good location close to the airport with many good restaurants and bakeries in the area. It was too windy to enjoy the beach on the day we were there. We went to Artemis Grill House - it was very good food and great value.

    This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.

    a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking. Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.

    We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.

The water is shallow and mainly calm wit a big sand bar a few meters out I would say very safe for children The sunbed range in quality and price ranging from 20 euros a set with parasol to 12 euros which obviously also is based on location and convenience to the beach bars and taverna's. Some beds are free if you spend money in the taverna's We loved the beach and clear warm warms that September brings

    My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here.

    My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed. It’s a beautiful little town with the beach being so close too.

    Very quiet place to rest after your cruise!

    Very quiet place to rest after your cruise! Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again ! Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !
