- From US$151.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 850 reviewsThe hotel overall was good, with a spacious room and a cozy hot tub. The bed was very comfortable and you can see the quality in the bedding and general comfort. However, I would suggest some improvements: the bathroom would be better with a curtain or enclosed shower so the water doesn’t go out, and the toilet felt very old and cheap compared to the rest of the room. Since the hotel has its own restaurant and coffee bar, I believe it deserves a refresh the style, cuisine, and atmosphere are outdated, and it’s a shame because the view is beautiful but the place is always empty. A cozier and more modern restaurant with better staff would make a huge difference. Also, it would be perfect if the sunbeds were included in the hotel stay, as paying €10 extra doesn’t feel right. In general, the experience was okay, but with a few updates this hotel could be truly great.Guest review byArmandoAlbania
- From US$455.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,003 reviewsA beautiful hotel with the best breakfast view! The breakfast area is on the 6th floor which offers a panoramic view of the city along with the Acropolis. Food was amazing too with the best scrambled eggs and a large selection of food all of high quality. Rooms were clean and well-furnished. We got a free upgrade to their balcony room with panoramic view of the acropolis, the view was truly breathtaking and we were beyond grateful. The hotel also allowed late check-out at 1pm and we really appreciated the flexibility as we got more time to explore the city. It is also in a very safe quiet neighborhood but still a walkable distance from Syntagma square so the location didn't cause us any inconvenience.Guest review byQueenie Hong TingHong Kong
- From US$334.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 423 reviewsThe warmth and care we experienced from the guest relations team at Electra Rhythm Hotel left a lasting impression. From the beginning, Christina and Aggeliki went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, arranging a private picnic for my partner and me with a level of care that rivals the very best anywhere. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail were exceptional. What impressed me most was their genuine enthusiasm to ensure we have an unforgettable time. Thanks to Christina and Aggeliki, our time at Electra will remain one of our favorites.Guest review byKevinUnited States
- From US$116.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 889 reviewsThis is a special hotel with local charm and a relaxed vibe. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the beachfront location was great when you wanted to relax on the lovely sun loungers by the sea. Loved the app where you could order drinks or food to your lounger or room and food was top class. The staff make this place extra special, there were so helpful, expecially so when we need some extra help to see a doctor too. The island itself has so much to offer and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and other beach areas within walking distance.Guest review bySarahIreland

Athens is a busy place, but there are places to get away from the crowds such as the park and hills by the Acropolis. Fantastic food. The Byzantine Museum was really good and seeing a tortoise at Hadrians Library a real treat.Guest review byHarveyUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Convenient location close to the airport 20Euros pickup from the airport and 20E return. Our apartment was 8-10 minutes from food locations which really was only one restaurant open on a Monday night - I expected more choice. Though we were happy with the food we bought.Guest review byDebAustralia - 8.0

We only stayed for one night before our flight out of Athens. Good location close to the airport with many good restaurants and bakeries in the area. It was too windy to enjoy the beach on the day we were there. We went to Artemis Grill House - it was very good food and great value.Guest review byMargo - 8.0

The entry is a bit odd as it’s next to a pet shop but once upstairs you have a fantastic apartment that is close to Port and easy to get to with bags. I loved the views to the clock tower from balcony, views to the square and hills from living-room and hearing the town wake up each morning. Very neat and clean. Excellent experience and host extremely helpful and responsive.Guest review byRobertAustralia - 8.0
This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting.
This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.Guest review bySandraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

You need to find time to discover the island and walk through all the little streets. I don't necessarily recommend a walking tour of the island, like we did, but with enough water and the right shoes, it can be a pleasant adventure.Guest review byIuliaRomania - 10.0

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking. Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.Guest review byjasonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The water front is much the same as many port town island fronts. Vibrant and lively with restaurants, bars and cocktail/ice-cream parlours. The large marinas are full of small fishing boats, large fishing boats, flotilla holiday yachts, luxury yachts and flying dolphins. Aegina is the home to the best pistachio nuts in the world and they are on sale everywhere, that and local honey. One street back from the front is where the gift shops are and more restaurants. In theory the back streets are pedestrianised, but scooters wizz through them, so take care, particularly at intersections, they don't slow down. At the far end of the port there is a large orthodox churches that is so beautiful, don't miss it.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The beach is the longest sandy beach on Aegina which is predominately lovely sand there are some mixed stones and sand at the far but nothing to bad. The water is shallow and mainly calm wit a big sand bar a few meters out I would say very safe for children The sunbed range in quality and price ranging from 20 euros a set with parasol to 12 euros which obviously also is based on location and convenience to the beach bars and taverna's. Some beds are free if you spend money in the taverna's We loved the beach and clear warm warms that September bringsGuest review byMichael MawsonUnited Kingdom
