We stayed at this beautiful resort with my family and a friend’s family — a group of 5 adults and 4 children — and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The resort is very well organized, everything is thoughtfully designed and maintained, and it feels quite new with lots of greenery all around. The highlight for us was definitely the pool area and the large plane tree (sycamore) providing refreshing shade — such a peaceful and relaxing spot. The pool bar staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, which made our days by the pool even better. A big shout-out also to the lifeguard, who was very attentive and always ensured everyone’s safety, both at the pool and by the sea. Our room was a spacious junior suite, filled with natural light and equipped with every detail we needed: a small kitchen corner, an espresso machine, a water kettle, and more. It really felt like a home away from home. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this resort to families looking for comfort, relaxation, and excellent service.

The location is very optimal for going to the beach and the nearby restaurants. The staff was very nice, our child felt very welcomed and had a great time. The room was comfortable, with plenty of privacy to sit outside in front. When we go back to Skyros we will book here again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Nefeli Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel is on a great spot in a superb and serene setting with breathtaking views and surrounding hills. Evia (or Euboea) is the 2nd largest island of Greece and is connected with 2 bridges to the mainland. Ideal for summer and winter holidays, this unique destination features hot springs, lovely beaches, green mountains, traditional villages and a ski centre.

    First of all the location and the view is magnificent.. Special thanks to Panos and his team, Maria and everyone from the bar. The service from them was brilliant, outstanding I would say. They made us feel like home and I would like to thank you for this. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had. Very tasty and diversified. Protein bar, cookies, omelette and juice all home made. The Cocktails were made with home made syrup, were very good also.     The front desk staff members are very nice and welcoming. The room is modern with a nice balcony overlooking the pool area and great views of Skiros Castle Town. We enjoyed a variety of breakfast items outside by the pool. The fancy coffee machine was super awesome with a great selection of espresso, mocha, hot chocolate, and more. It was a nice stay in Skiros with walks into town and a super short distance from the bus stop back to Linaria to catch the ferry back to Kymi.

    The Hotel Managers and personnel were polite and friendly. I booked the J-Suite which found good and cost was fair for this type of room. All services were top rated and the best thing (from my point of view) was the restaurant. The food was tasteful and delicious! The Managers & Personnel are high quality professionals and the whole experience is unique. Next time I would like to book the G-Suite which offers a great balcony with Bay view!

    it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants...

    it was my 3rd time in Chalkida: its a 100.000 inhabitants town and its typical Greek city: dirty, loud, traffic out of control - every driver is doing what he wants. be careful when you cross the road by foot!! you have a very clean and calm shopping mall and a tourist area on the beach where is a lot of Restaurants. unfortunately, the later the evening, the louder the music. we were in Mostar meeting friends and you could not understand your own word. whats sense of so loud music in a Restaurant? around Chalkida there are a lot of wonderful, peaceful places. visit the beach areas or the Castle Cafe for a good cup! prices in most restaurants are very fair, but be careful not to be tricked: especially when you choose fish, ASK BEFORE what it will cost!

    We love Edipsou and visit it every year around the end of April. It is not so crowded then and the weather is usually just perfect for the springs and getting a bit of a tan. There are a few Mezopolios where you can taste the amazing dishes and get a glass of ouzo, unfortunately, they are usually open until 18,00 pm. Of course there are the usual restaurants that are open later. The hot springs also offer a relaxing getaway. If you have any aches or pains, it is the best spot to just relax. I highly recommend this location for a few days.

    Skyros is not overly commercialised which makes it a perfect destination. Lovely beaches, hospitality and tavernas. Molos beach is the best. Kalimistas beach is worth a visit. Asterias taverna is the best place to eat in Molos a d on the beach.

    Pension Posidonia is really beautiful - we had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, surrounded by a garden full of oleander and other flowers. The free sunbeds and umbrellas are on the doorstep, the beach is lovely, and the views are stunning. We swam all day and sunbathed then wandered a 5 minute walk to good seafood restaurants overlooking the sea. Shops are even closer, everywhere was very accessible. Our delightful host recommended Louis, one of the many restaurants, and was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful in every way. She speaks excellent English, and ordered us our taxi to the airport when we - reluctantly! - had to go home. Definitely 5 stars!

    It is a pleasant resort for a stay at the sea. The marina is a pleasant place to walk and visit. There are many terraces/restaurants/taverns for dining. The nearby Galida beach is very long, with calm, clear water, with few stones. There are parking lots right next to the beach, under the shade of the pine trees. There is a tavern on the beach. Winds are specific in the area, but despite all that, the sea has no waves, it is good for swimming. There are not many places to buy souvenirs in the city. We ate at the Cavo D'Oro tavern and Fingerfood, and we recommend.

It has beautiful cafés on the promenade in front of the canal fantastic shopping, lots of pedestrian streets for good quality shopping, great food. It is a great escape from Athens for a weekend or a couple of days at the entrance of Evia island. You can go to further destinations in Evia easily. I would highly recommend the city for a short stay. Bear in mind that it is difficult to get around by car but the parking spots are very affordable. I would recommend the seaside of Lefkanti 20 min away

    A village with a small port and a main street with a few...

    A village with a small port and a main street with a few gift shops and restaurants. Food not really great and not fresh. We tried calamary and it was super gummy. Nothing to do, beach is a muddy strip with tons of trash on it. Not much a of night life and only retired older people here.

    At least on the beaches we visited, none of them had sand on the shore, and there were large rocks in the water. Additionally, on some beaches, the sea had sea urchins. It's nice for taking a dip, but not ideal for swimming in the sea.

    The best part is that it is still local and peaceful and not...

    The best part is that it is still local and peaceful and not over touristy because it does not have international airport and is not the closest from the islands to take a ferry to, so even in Summer months it is not too crowded other than maybe a couple of main streets during evening dinner time. In peak season you can still find beaches almost just for yourself and plenty of room even in the most popular easy access ones. Also, a very good thing that in the heat of the Summer it is one of those places in Greece that is remarkably cooler due to its location: if mainland is 35, it is only 30 etc. Now that the Summers are getting way too hot, it is a very positive thing. You can stay in a popular restaurant hearing just Greek and seeing just locals, so it feels authentic. It is also interestingly diverse, because the South is try and sunkissed, the North is lush, so you get many worlds in one place. There are secret gems like a beach with the shipwreck but even that you get just for yourself. If looking for beach life, just be aware of the wind direction as the waves get pretty big if you are on the "wrong side" and beach if the weather is windier. Google or ask the locals to go to a calmer bay then.
