The room was cosy, very clean (evry day cleaning and changing towels) and it had a large beautiful private terrace with a lot of flowers in large red pots and with a retractable canopy.. The staf was very kind and helpfull - we could let our luggage after we have checked out until we have decided to get the boat back to the mainland.. The entry is a bit odd as it’s next to a pet shop but once upstairs you have a fantastic apartment that is close to Port and easy to get to with bags. I loved the views to the clock tower from balcony, views to the square and hills from living-room and hearing the town wake up each morning. Very neat and clean. Hydra is fabulous. It's quite stylish. There is a wonderful array of bars, cafes and restaurants with delicious food, which was surprisingly good value. We've been going to Hydra for over 15 years, and love the ease of the island, especially no vehicles. Though the beaches aren't your classic white sandy beaches the sea is beautiful and the people are really hospitable.
