Our staying at Chloe was amazing. The hotel staff is incredibly nice and the hotel really feel like family. We felt welcomed and the atmosphere was always positive and kind. The location of the accommodation was convenient and close to restaurants and cafes. Plenty of free street parking is available nearby. The host, Evi, was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and they waited and gave us a very warm welcome. They also assisted us in finding a suitable and easy parking spot opposite the accommodation, as well as helping us to carry our luggage into the room. Our room was of good size, clean, tidy, modern, quiet and well-facilitated. The bed was very comfortable. We also received welcome drinks (dessert wine) and snack in the room on arrival. The breakfast was lovely, including sandwiches and hot breakfast (bacon, sausage, cheese, ham and different types of eggs), cakes, yogurt, fruits etc. and barista coffee. Evi is a very good barista. On check out, Evi provided us with comprehensive and useful information on attractions and good restaurants in the city. We are very satisfied with this accommodation.

Guesthouse Filoxenia, very cozy place in the northen Greece., situated in the small romantic town Kastoria, this big family house offers an amazing view from tha balcony and the dining room. The staff was very nice and willing to help, here is a parking place directly next to the guesthouse and the breakfast with the view on the lake was wonderful. It is also a good starting point to make a tour around the peninsula. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the stay a lot. A place to remember.

After a tough day's cycling from Albania, including being bitten by a mountain dog, this was perfect place to stay. The staff were very helpful, particularly with getting treatment at a local medical centre, and made us and our bicycles very welcome. Comfortable, clean and an excellent breakfast. We couldn't have asked for more.

The breakfast was superb! I loved the lawns and all horticulture. It’s beautiful to have breakfast outside in open private surrounding. I had my dog with me, we got the room with separated entrance, looking at the big lawn, he was delighted with propertis park, and he’s the picky one.

Pretty place, but be aware you can't swim in the lake.

Pretty place, but be aware you can't swim in the lake. Things to do - Boat trip around the lake and the caves are lovely and so was walking around the town and seeing the old buildings. The drive around the lake was wonderful and the trees formed a canopy so also very cool. You can also walk the whole route but might take a couple of hours and no designated pavement. We climbed the mountain path behind the monastery, but be warned it is steep and hard work in places, but the views are amazing. However, if you want the same views, drive up the road to the hospital and keep going as when I arrived after my 45 minute climb I can upon the road and it will take you to the peak (I think). Parts of the town are quite hilly and walking shoes or trainers needed in these parts, but you can probably avoid these areas if you wanted to.

It was better than expected.The swimming pool was very clean and as it was not crowded I enjoyed it a lot.The room,staff,breakfast were fine for us as well as the room facilities.We visited late August,so it was quiet.The garden ,so well cared and enjoying a coffee under the trees is an experience.

Kastoria on the lake is very scenic.

Kastoria on the lake is very scenic. If you want to see a different view of Greeece away from the intensity of Athens I would recommend visiting Kastoria. We also took the opportunity to visit Korce, Albania which we thoroughly enjoyed.
