- From US$235.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 28 reviewsThe food when we had upon our arrival was excellent and the price for what we ordered was very reasonable. Also the restaurant and the houses we stayed were both well decorated, spacious and comfortable enough. Christmas decorations were also super. Other than the facility itself, the way the landladies welcome and support you is amazing and you feel as if you are friends for years and where you stay is your own house and land because of hospitality and close interest of the landladies Kalyop, Sofia and landlord Vasili. We stayed only one night there, had lunch and breakfast which were both successfully delicious, the nature is full of peace with fresh air and green fields around, you feel that all the environment belongs to you and you belong to there as if you, your parents were born there, you are originally from that area. We went there with my child's classmate's parents and they were also very pleased to be staying at this hotel.Guest review byNilayTurkey
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 291 reviewsEverything was wonderful. We visit the place every year and our stay is always great. We love the perfect location of the hotel- right in front of the sandy beach; the taverna nearby is great. They cook every day lunch menu which is very convenient for a family with kids. Everyone from the hotel staff is very polite and kind. They made me a special present for my birthday, which was during our stay. Every time we feel like home in the villa.Guest review byAtanaskaBulgaria

And furthermore we got offered to stay in the suite for a good price. Especially the manager where friendly and smiling. The breakfast was good, and there were different kinds of food options for everyone.Guest review byHüsneDenmark

The owners were very kind friendly and hospitable. Easy to communicate with and had great recommendations for the area.Guest review byVasilUnited States

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Kavala – a hidden Greek gem that captures your heart from the very first moment! 🇬🇷** Kavala is not just a city – it’s a feeling. A place where the sea meets history, where peaceful streets, smiling locals, and the aroma of fresh coffee create a truly magical atmosphere. Wandering through the Old Town feels like stepping back in time – cobblestone alleys, colorful houses, and the majestic fortress offering breathtaking views over the sea and harbor. The city blends ancient charm with a vibrant, welcoming spirit that makes you want to stay forever. The beaches around Kavala are crystal clear and beautifully calm – perfect for relaxing under the sun. And the food… absolutely divine! From cozy seaside tavernas serving homemade dishes to modern spots with a view, every bite is made with love and tradition. Kavala is perfect for a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or simply a peaceful escape. Easy to fall in love with, impossible to forget. 💙 If you’re looking for a destination full of **character, history, sea breeze, and soul** – look no further. Kavala has it all… and a little more.Guest review byElena - 8.0

A small port village that is just starting to develop as an independent resort. The beaches are great - wide, long, with nice sand and shallow shores. There are large free areas, as well as areas with sun loungers. There is plenty of parking space (this was in September). The village itself is quiet - as if you are walking through a nice residential area. All stores, pastry shops, restaurants and fast food places are located on the main street, which is also the ferry port for Thassos. Unfortunately, the main street in question is quite unmaintained, there are no normal sidewalks, it is difficult to walk along it. You constantly stop to let the cars pass, and there are a lot of them, especially if a ferry has arrived or is departing.Guest review byAnonymousBulgaria - 8.0

The main city beach is crowded, with sun loungers literally touching the water. Further away, there is a nice wild beach, but you have to walk quite a distance to get there. Apartment prices are inflated. Prices in cafes are also high. Overall, this place is too touristy.Guest review byVictor SorokovikovRussia - 10.0

A small village that is not very pretentious. The central beach is very narrow, but there are two restaurants in front of which there are wonderful sun loungers and good service. We were in front of the Cactus restaurant and were very satisfied.Guest review byHristinaBulgaria - 6.0

Ofrynio Beach is a place under development, with a lot of buildings under constructions. There is a lot of dust everywhere. Still, the beach is really lively and high quality. Then, travelling by car, with an EV, there were NO carwash places around at all and also there is only one slow charging place with two stalls in the whole area.Guest review byAlexRomania - 8.0

It is a Village near to the city of Kavala.
It is a Village near to the city of Kavala. It is very well organised and it has local markets, a park, place for live shows, beach, coffee shops and taverns. The prices there are much cheaper on the entire region of Kavala.Guest review byTsipouchtzoglou - 10.0

Intimacy, luxury, peace, waves and the beach practically in the yard of the house. Shopping can be done in the first large town, 20 km away, and you can cook everything in the modern equipped kitchen. The terraces of the house where the meal is served are more fabulous than those of any 5-star restaurant. Although the beach is rocky, there are no inconveniences, only benefits because you can swim, dive all day long in the privacy of the house's yard. The hosts are incredible, they offer you their home with such openness, kindness, trust that you feel like a friend and not a tourist.Guest review byDariaAnielaRomania - 10.0

It was a good location to see local archaeological and historical sites but also to explore the villages and beaches nearby. I have been here before, and so this trip was focused on physical therapy at the clay baths and relaxing on the beach.Guest review byLily - 10.0
Kavala isn't your usual Greek holiday destination.
Kavala isn't your usual Greek holiday destination. It's a working port and town and not so full of tourists. It has beaches to either side which are very nice. The Fortress and the old town are great to explore with lots of bars and restaurants. A two or three night stay would be long enough. There are some steep walking areas and the traffic is horrendous. It's definitely a hustle and bustle type of place.Guest review byDickinson
