- From $136.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,285 reviewsWe loved this 5 star hotel right on the beach in Kavala. When we arrived, they upgraded our room to a junior suite which was delightful. We had a large king bed, and two balconies that overlooked the ocean. We were very close to the water's edge and could hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. Our view was beautiful, looking out over the water and the town of Kavala. The bed was comfortable. We had two comfy chairs, as well as a desk with a chair. The bathroom was roomy and well equipped. The room was spacious and so relaxing. It comes with a breakfast buffet which was varied and delicious. All the staff were very helpful and most of them spoke decent English. There was a nice market nearby to pick up some fruit and water and snacks. The staff would call for a taxi for us whenever we needed to go anywhere. The hotel itself is about a 5 minute drive from the city of Kavala, which is a very authentic Greek city and not overrun with tourists.Guest review byDorothyUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 292 reviewsThe location on first line to the beach is really comfortable when you travel with kids. There is a alley outside the hotel which leads to the village for 25 minutes walk which allows us to make our daily steps :)) The people are friendly, smiling and helpful. The garden is cosy and well-kept. The place is away from the crouds, the beach is calm. Great accommodation!Guest review byStela ValkovaBulgaria

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Kavala – a hidden Greek gem that captures your heart from the very first moment! 🇬🇷** Kavala is not just a city – it’s a feeling. A place where the sea meets history, where peaceful streets, smiling locals, and the aroma of fresh coffee create a truly magical atmosphere. Wandering through the Old Town feels like stepping back in time – cobblestone alleys, colorful houses, and the majestic fortress offering breathtaking views over the sea and harbor. The city blends ancient charm with a vibrant, welcoming spirit that makes you want to stay forever. The beaches around Kavala are crystal clear and beautifully calm – perfect for relaxing under the sun. And the food… absolutely divine! From cozy seaside tavernas serving homemade dishes to modern spots with a view, every bite is made with love and tradition. Kavala is perfect for a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or simply a peaceful escape. Easy to fall in love with, impossible to forget. 💙 If you’re looking for a destination full of **character, history, sea breeze, and soul** – look no further. Kavala has it all… and a little more.Guest review byElena - 8.0

A small port village that is just starting to develop as an independent resort. The beaches are great - wide, long, with nice sand and shallow shores. There are large free areas, as well as areas with sun loungers. There is plenty of parking space (this was in September). The village itself is quiet - as if you are walking through a nice residential area. All stores, pastry shops, restaurants and fast food places are located on the main street, which is also the ferry port for Thassos. Unfortunately, the main street in question is quite unmaintained, there are no normal sidewalks, it is difficult to walk along it. You constantly stop to let the cars pass, and there are a lot of them, especially if a ferry has arrived or is departing.Guest review byAnonymousBulgaria - 10.0
A small village that is not very pretentious.
A small village that is not very pretentious. The central beach is very narrow, but there are two restaurants in front of which there are wonderful sun loungers and good service. We were in front of the Cactus restaurant and were very satisfied.Guest review byHristinaBulgaria - 8.0

The main city beach is crowded, with sun loungers literally touching the water. Further away, there is a nice wild beach, but you have to walk quite a distance to get there. Apartment prices are inflated. Prices in cafes are also high. Overall, this place is too touristy.Guest review byVictor SorokovikovRussia - 6.0

Ofrynio Beach is a place under development, with a lot of buildings under constructions. There is a lot of dust everywhere. Still, the beach is really lively and high quality. Then, travelling by car, with an EV, there were NO carwash places around at all and also there is only one slow charging place with two stalls in the whole area.Guest review byAlexRomania - 8.0

Our unit was very nice and the host had provided all you would need even beach umbrellas. Nice, lots of families and the best bakery down the road. You would need a car to experience other sights around the areaGuest review byMaryAustralia - 10.0
It is a Village near to the city of Kavala.
It is a Village near to the city of Kavala. It is very well organised and it has local markets, a park, place for live shows, beach, coffee shops and taverns. The prices there are much cheaper on the entire region of Kavala.Guest review byTsipouchtzoglou - 10.0

Intimacy, luxury, peace, waves and the beach practically in the yard of the house. Shopping can be done in the first large town, 20 km away, and you can cook everything in the modern equipped kitchen. The terraces of the house where the meal is served are more fabulous than those of any 5-star restaurant. Although the beach is rocky, there are no inconveniences, only benefits because you can swim, dive all day long in the privacy of the house's yard. The hosts are incredible, they offer you their home with such openness, kindness, trust that you feel like a friend and not a tourist.Guest review byDariaAnielaRomania - 10.0

It was a good location to see local archaeological and historical sites but also to explore the villages and beaches nearby. I have been here before, and so this trip was focused on physical therapy at the clay baths and relaxing on the beach.Guest review byLily - 10.0
Kavala isn't your usual Greek holiday destination.
Kavala isn't your usual Greek holiday destination. It's a working port and town and not so full of tourists. It has beaches to either side which are very nice. The Fortress and the old town are great to explore with lots of bars and restaurants. A two or three night stay would be long enough. There are some steep walking areas and the traffic is horrendous. It's definitely a hustle and bustle type of place.Guest review byDickinson
