Great location by the water/port away from the busiest part of the city. The rooms are modern and very nicely furnished, spotless clean. Beds are very comfortable. The nice addition of a jacuzzi made the afternoon very pleasant and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and extremely service minded. Fantastic breakfast that you can enjoy outside the hotel or at the rooftop area. Parking is easy as you can park for free at the port just 100 meters away. Bonus tip: the equally fantastic restaurant Piato is just 30 meters from the hotel. Book both for an unforgettable combination.

We had a wonderful stay at Castello Boutique Suites! The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and a fantastic view to enjoy every morning. The suite was clean, stylish, and very comfortable.     The hotel ticked most of the boxes one would like to see on a family holiday. The staff were consistently kind, professional and friendly throughout our stay and it felt really genuine. The quality of the food in the buffet was very good for an all inclusive. Moreover the kitchen staff were kind enough to cook some food on the side for our baby which had no salt even though they were very busy. This is something we really appreciated as the buffet does get busy. The property itself is large enough to feel that you have space to move around and have different settings but neither was it too big so you do not feel you are in massive resort. There are a lot of activities for the children to enjoy and a nice bar with a a very capable bartender to unwind in at night. We had booked a suite with a sea view which was very nice but upgraded to a larger room to have more space. The hotel's proximity to the beach means that you can hear the waves in your bedroom. The hotel is on the edge of the town so you benefit from a peaceful environment but can easily explore Ierapetra on foot. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this amazing built place, the architecture and the design outstanding. The staff was truly fantastic, very careful with your needs and a really nice company while you dine in at the restaurant and at the bar. The variety of food makes you want to come back the next day, not knowing what to expect.A lot of culture in the food with different themes that bring joy with every meal. The cleaning service did wonders in the room, the good feeling to come back in a clean room after a day on the beach. One more aspect I wish to mention, the gym.Having a place where you can train and admire the views at the same time did a really good impression on me.There is also a boxing bag for the ones who like some cardio. Peace.

    Wonderful. I paid peanuts for a superb quality room on the side street with extremely efficient A/C and had the use of the 8th floor bar until 7pm with reasonably priced drinks and lower floor pool the whole day. I opted for dinner buffet which was good quality food, great price and nice company. this is a real “find” within a few minutes walk from the port . I arrived around 13.45 for a 14.00 check-in and found a foc parking spot in the road uphill from the hotel main entrance (steep hillside) I thoroughly recommend

    the hotel area is wonderfull. The organization of the Easter celebration was on a high level. The breakfast is very various and delicious. But the breakfast box (in case of early departure) disappointed me. The hotel managment should review the possibility to add hot meal in the box as the package is allowed to do it and the hotel level gives an expectation of such care. But it's just a recommendation. Despite of that our stay was amazing.

    It was very pretty and friendly, not too busy although I imagine it would be earlier in season. We visited end Aug into Sept. Lots of choice of restaurants and bars. Can get the bus to surrounding towns and villages or boat trips round the coast. Close to the island of Spinalonga which is interesting to visit.

    The only problem i face every time i visit is that there's no direct flight from Cyprus to Sitia, which makes the trip quite difficult. I have to make two stops, and the bus connection is challenging, with a winding road and a tiring journey of 3 to 3 1/2 hours, witch i will really consider to go again just for that. Because i leave my house early in the morning and i arrive very late at night time to Sitia. AND THAT IS VERY TIRING!

    The perfect place for peaceful vacation. The city itself is nice but not something extraordinary, but you get the best food in Greece alongside the best beaches in the World! Try Psarropoula, Kakkos and all other beaches in Ferma area. Make beautiful trips to Chryssi Island or Agios Nikolaos (30min), Siteia (45min), Vai, Oropedio Lasithiou etc.

    Tiny village with a great atmosphere. We attended to a traditional event, with cretese music and dances, and in the area you can find very interesting historical sites. The beaches are very close and nice (the coast is facing east, so there are no waves in case the strong wind is blowing). Our favourite beaches have been Kouremenos for windsurfing and Itanos/Paralia for swimming. The best restaurants we tried are Mythos in the village centre and Elia in the close village of Agathias that you can reach on foot in ten minutes. Pharmacy, restaurants, shops, markets. Here you can find all you need for a perfect stay!

    Sissi has a lovely harbour location surrounded by a selection of tavernas - Amelia Taverna was excellent for quality and value for money - staff were lovely. The bakery was also excellent. There are several beaches nearby but signposting is poor.

A trip up to the villages in the mountains is a must. Have travelled around crete for 30 years but the past 7, been coming here. Mirtos has stolen our hearts !!

    Big sandy beaches. Good tavernas, we liked MeRaki. Istron is a "strip" of a village running along a main road. There are apartments and hotels up the hillside from the road, with not too much road noise. When rough you can hear the sea from your apartment. Apart from the beaches and eating places there is probably not too much else to do.

    Very small village, quite and friendly with 7 taverna to suit all tastes and budgets 3were exceptional.a few gift shops and a well stocked mini market .the hill to our villa is quite steep in places but we were able to get up and down at least twice a day even as a 73 year old and after wine and raki . Sitia and beyond were great to explore and the town beach was good when not too windy .we used thlos beach a short drive away too. Everywhere accepted visa cards which was a good job as the nearest ATM is on sitia. All in all a fab place if you want small and quiet.
