We experienced truly magical holidays here! Nowhere else have we ever felt such warmth and genuine kindness. Every single member of the hotel staff was always smiling, attentive, and radiated positivity. We enjoyed a wonderful professional massage, and the hairdresser’s services were of the highest quality. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a breathtaking sea view. Breakfasts were simply delightful! The overall experience was excellent, from the owner always being helpful as well as the excellent customer service from all the staff. I was there the last week in August 2023, apologize for the late review some personal issues. The pool and jucuzzi areas were great, a relief from the crazy town that is Mykonos. My rental car broke down on the way back from the old Port around midnight, I was stuck just around a dangerous curve on the highway a blind spot for oncoming crazy drivers. To make matters worse my iPhone died earlier that day but there was an Aegean Gas station within view about 1 KM away which I walked to. I was able to get the attendant to call the Hotel front desk after numerous fruitless attempts to contact Avis. No sooner than I get off the phone to walk outside there was a Mercedes pulling up into the gas station who rolled down his window and told me to get in, the owner sent one of his staff members to pick me up I'm guessing in his personal vehicle. After getting back to the reception desk the staff spent the next 30 minutes after midnight trying to get a hold of Avis. Finally we found someone, and we relayed the urgent need to send a tow truck to get the car so it wouldn't be smacked into around that dangerous curve. The Tow Truck arrived withing 20 mins and I was able to get the car towed. My last day while waiting for the shuttle back to the airport my adjustment handle on my Swiss gear luggage came loose and needed a missing screw. Sure, enough Panos got one of his staff to fix my handle too!

It was a great experience staying at Croco. The team at Croco made us feel right at home attending to all our needs. They have a whatsapp concierge which made communicating with the team really easy to attend to all our needs. They helped arrange for the rental of a Car during our stay there, pick up and drop off all done at the Hotel which was really really useful for us. Their breakfast spread was great and filling with different dishes each day so that our stay was dynamic and enjoyable. You get a great view of the Mykonos Sunset as the hotel is located right by the coast, Location wise, it is really near the main tourist area of Chora, which made it accessible by foot or car. It is a great place if you are looking to relax and unwind by the pool. One of the notable mentions, which I feel is important because it is exemplary of the standards that they hold themselves to - was that the Soap, Shower Gel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Tooth Brush provided were all branded and of high quality. Something which really impressed me and my wife. Another great feature of this Hotel is that they have a Gym, it helped me keep some weight off my belly during this trip and was actually the only hotel equipped with a Gym that we stayed in.

I loved everything that was on that place, starting from the staff who welcomed me in the best ways possible and made me feel so comfortable that I didn’t have anything to complain about. FAQs about hotels on Mykonos

The Exclusive Party Island

The ‘Island of Wind’, Mykonos is best known for its 16th-century windmills, good watersports and outrageous nightlife.

The capital is liberal Mykonos Town (or Chora), where windmills overlook beautiful Little Venice with whitewashed houses right on the water. Keep an eye out for Petros the Pelican – the island’s mascot - by the beach. The sunsets here are fantastic, but it’s after dark that the bars and clubs (including famous Cavo Paradiso) on its cobbled streets kick into life. This is the de facto Greek party island, but unlike less exclusive counterparts Malia and Faliraki, you might struggle to find cheap Mykonos hotels here.

A complete contrast is laidback Kalafati, popular with windsurfers. Good for surfing is Ornos, while next door Aghios Ioannis was the setting for the ‘Shirley Valentine’ film. Its sandy beach offers views of uninhabited Delos island whose archaeological sites are UNESCO World Heritage listed.

Elia has the longest beach, while around the coast is Platis Gialos, a popular resort with a good number of Mykonos hotels on the beach on Booking.com. Glass-bottomed boats departing from here give great views of local sealife.

Cruise ships dock at Tourlos and the turquoise waters of neighbouring Aghios Stefanos are sheltered by low hills. Inland, peaceful Ano Mera provides a taste of more traditional Mykonos life.

    recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of Mykonos, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! Location: The location couldn't be more perfect. Nestled right in the vibrant center of Mykonos, the hotel is within walking distance of charming streets, lively nightlife, and stunning views. It was so convenient to explore the delightful cafes, boutique shops, and iconic landmarks like the windmills and Little Venice. Being in the heart of the island made it so easy to immerse myself in the local culture and enjoy everything Mykonos has to offer. Airport: Traveling to the hotel was a breeze. Mykonos Airport (JMK) is just a short 15-minute drive away, and I opted for the hotel shuttle service, which was incredibly smooth and comfortable. The proximity to the airport made my arrival and departure stress-free, allowing me to focus on enjoying my vacation from the moment I landed. Room: My room was an oasis of comfort and elegance. It perfectly blended modern amenities with traditional Cycladic charm. The crisp white linens and tasteful decor created a serene atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the balcony, where I could relax and take in the picturesque views of Mykonos. Whether I was sipping my morning coffee or enjoying a sunset cocktail, the room provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable stay.

    The hotel was beautiful, the beds were extremely comfortable, the location was great, beautiful, crystal clear water and friendly service. We were even able to have a couples massage inside our own hotel room. We loved the direct access from the room via the terrace to the pool/beach/restaurant area. Due to the small size of the hotel, we felt like home as everyone of the staff immediately knew who we were and that we were hotel guests, as opposed to day-visitors.

    We visited late September, weather perfect, crowds not crazy...

    We visited late September, weather perfect, crowds not crazy, perfect time of year to visit the islands in Greece. We've been during high season (July) and crowds made it less enjoyable. We stayed 3 nights, and that was perfect to do what we wanted to do and get a great feel for Mykonos in our opinion. Getting around on foot & bus was easy and inexpensive. Very walkable, beaches very accessible by bus for 2 Euros. More expensive that say Paros, but, worth experiencing for a 2-3 days. Ferry to Delos island was easy and 25 Euros each and amazing experience. Any more time would be too much on this island. It is known for its "party" style, however, we had a relaxing trip and felt none of the crazy party atmosphere. Which was exactly what we wanted.

    What I liked the most is how accesible the beaches are and how beautiful they are. The water is crystal clear. What I didn't like is how much space the beach clubs take of the beach and how close the sun beds are to each other.

    It's a strange mix of sleeping retired fishing village...

    It's a strange mix of sleeping retired fishing village whilst being the gateway to the party beaches. Quieter in the evening, it was good for easy access into Mykonos town, but if you wanted the party vibe, it isn't for you. The beach is ok, but very little available free, mostly down to expensive sun loungers from restaurants and clubs, These are plentiful, but not over the top with loud music.

    We stayed in Agios Ioannis during our trip to Mykonos and absolutely loved it. The location is ideal — quiet and peaceful compared to the busier parts of the island, yet still close enough to reach Mykonos Town in just a short drive. The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and stunning sunset views right over Delos. What really stood out was the relaxed atmosphere. It felt like a true escape from the crowds, while still offering lovely tavernas and beach clubs within walking distance. The area felt authentic and safe, with a touch of luxury. If you’re looking for a spot in Mykonos that balances tranquility with easy access to everything, Agios Ioannis is a perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed and will definitely return!

    The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos.

    The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos. Sea taxi into Mykonos town and in the town was extremely busy with the people from the cruise ships. Mykonos is beautiful but very expensive. The new port for the ferry’s is a nightmare a free for all with very little help telling you where to go or what to do. I’m glad I’ve experienced it, but I won’t go again.

    If you are looking for a great place to go to the beach and have human prices this is the place If you look for party, I would say this place definitely have the vibe, but not the people probably other way more expensive part of town is a better bet

    LGBT friendly beach. Well, mostly men. Less noisy than Super Paradise. Nudist friendly, great vibes all arround. The only minus is the pricing and conditions because they impose a minimum charge from the bar, that they've never enforced, but still, it's a bit annoying when you already pay 70EUR for 2 sunbeds to also be forced to make a minumum order of 100 EUR from the bar. The beach restaurant is very good.

    This is a normal clean beach, but nothing special. There were several beach clubs which denied admission to one person even though they had plenty of vacant lounges which I found discriminating. There is also a small area of public beach.

    It's a quiet beach. The sand is clean and very soft. There are no rocks, making it easy to swim or simply walk. You can rent loungers and umbrellas at a reasonable price. Nearby, there is a well-stocked supermarket with options for both sweet and savory food on site, and next to it, there is a café restaurant. There is also a very convenient and professional scooter rental. All the staff are very friendly. To get around Mykonos, it is advisable to rent a scooter to avoid the traffic and queues of numerous cars. I would definitely return and recommend this location for a vacation somewhat away from the noise of the center.

    Ano Mera is a beautiful village away from the expensive lively part of Mykonos. I would definitely recommend a stay here as the square restaurants are not overly expensive and the food is delightful. Ano Mera is a short 10 minute bus journey to the amazing beach of Elia.
