- From US$128.02 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 778 reviewsSpacious hotel with nice location, the rooms are clean, some traces of wearing out of interior are present but they are not crucial. Apart from spa and indoor swimming pool nearby there is a playground on the open air, families with children will like it. Beach is across the street, morning and evening walks are a must. As we travelled during low season we were nicely amazed by the services, the restaurant was open for dinner (apart from breakfast) and we could enjoy tasty food. The sizes of the portions were another nice surprise, they exceeded our expectations a lot. During breakfast you may also order types of eggs you prefer (omelette, scrambled eggs) and taste local specialties. The staff was very helpful and friendly.Guest review byAlonaLatvia
- From US$281.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 170 reviewsAccommodation had a very nice view, it had a very clean and sunny room with wooden beamed ceilings and wooden floor. Mine had a large TV, bathrobes, and slippers on the bathroom, safe box and minibar in the room. Breakfast buffet with local dishes was served in the hotel's dining room. This area functions as a restaurant for the rest of the day. Fair rates for the season, so I would love to go again for more days.Guest review byAlexUnited Kingdom

We had the best room in the house, on the top floor with a balcony all our own. Tolo is a magical place, lots of lovely eating places within a hundred metres of Hotel Tolo with the city of Nauplion twenty minutes away and the archaeological sites of Tiryns and Mycenae close by.Guest review byRobertAustralia

Nafplio is a rustic beautiful town
Nafplio is a rustic beautiful town Very clean with boutique shops and of course many souvenir shops My last visit was in 2001 and the amount of tourists has increased 10 fold. I’m not too sure this is a great thing as the personal approach has changed dramatically Once I could sit at a coffee shop and talk to the locals This no longer happens.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 10.0

Kalamata is a good base for a relaxing holiday, especially the Pharae hotel regular buses to the town, flat walk along the beach, buses at end of season get less, hiring a car several nearby areas well worth exploring or even a one night stay, depending on your interestsGuest review bycaroleUnited Kingdom - 8.0

From here, you can use a bus to reach Kiato, Corinth and Athens very cheaply. It is a beautiful town with nice monuments and ancient traditions. Pleasant city, active nightlife, many shops and excellent cuisine. From the Gulf of Patra you enter the Peloponnese. It is the right place to start a trip to Greece if you arrive by ferry from Italy, either with your own vehicle or simply on foot.Guest review byGiovanni RemondiniItaly - 10.0

Monemvasia is a lovely village built at the base of an island reachable by a bridge. There are two great spots to swim on the island side of the bridge, on of which is quite sheltered by rocks so we were able to take a dip although the wind and waves were strong. The town at the base of the cliffs and the old site at the top are both charming and worth a visit. We were only there for a night but I could have stayed longer.Guest review byLeslieFrance - 10.0

You need to find time to discover the island and walk through all the little streets. I don't necessarily recommend a walking tour of the island, like we did, but with enough water and the right shoes, it can be a pleasant adventure.Guest review byIuliaRomania - 10.0
Loutraki is a nice place for relaxation and pampering.
Loutraki is a nice place for relaxation and pampering. You could swim at Loutraki beach. Be aware that the beach has big pebbles. It is more comfortable to have water shoes with you. In addition, you could pamper yourself at Loutraki thermal spa. At the beach road, there are many different restaurants, taverns, cafeterias for every pocket.Guest review byΧΡΗΣΤΟΣGreece - 8.0

Gythio was phenomenal, a true gem of the Peloponnese! Everything you need, from high end restaurants to wonderful shops. Very tourist friendly town. Amazing views of the sea from every angle! Saga Fish Restaurant in Gythio is an absolute must for seafood. We were a five minute drive from Gythio. We stayed at Thirides Beach Resort. Highly recommend for all travelers visiting that part of Greece!Guest review byMarinaUnited States - 10.0

Olympia town is quite small but has some very nice tavernas, cafes and ice cream shops mostly under shady trees. The Main Street has a string of souvenir shops, some of which are quite stylish. We found a little museum dedicated to the inventions of Archimedes, a good spot for an hour or so.Guest review byMichaelAustralia - 10.0
Wandering through the streets of Areopoli in September is...
Wandering through the streets of Areopoli in September is an experience that delights the senses and sparks the imagination. The stone-paved lanes, the unusual tower houses, and the unique atmosphere create a blend of charm and history. The tower houses, with their architecture evoking the age of pirates and local skirmishes in the 17th century, provide a palpable sense of connection to the past. There is a layer of mystery and historical intensity to Areopoli and its surroundings, enhancing the atmosphere and making the experience truly unique for visitors. A stroll through Areopoli in September is not just a walk—it’s an invitation to wander through history, taste the local traditions, and lose yourself in an atmosphere that stimulates both imagination and the soul.Guest review byDimtriGreece
