- From US$211.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 150 reviewsWe stayed three nights over the weekend at Hotel Caravia Lux with my husband and had an absolutely amazing time. The hotel is a gorgeous little boutique spot — cozy, stylish, and set in a stunning location, with just ten rooms all facing the sea, the mountains, and the beautiful pool. It really has that peaceful, luxury feel without being overdone. The new management are truly lovely — kind, professional, and very attentive — which made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. Before our trip, we got in touch with the hotel to make a few special arrangements, and the communication was smooth, fast, and incredibly easy. Everything was handled perfectly, which really set the tone for the whole stay. Breakfast each morning was a delight — delicious homemade pies with that authentic Greek touch, fresh and full of flavour. The vibe around the hotel, especially by the pool, is super chill and relaxing — very adult-friendly, no kids running around, just pure calm. Dinner at the hotel was equally impressive — upscale yet warm, Greek cuisine with a refined twist that felt really special without being pretentious. We left feeling completely relaxed, very well looked after, and already talking about our next visit. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this lovely place to our friends and family.Guest review byNataliaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 333 reviewsWe just returned from our wonderful week at Agapitos Villas. What a lovely place to enjoy quiet and peaceful holidays. We like to thank Christos, Panos and Stathis and all the team very much as you made us feel welcome and our stay complete. Your service was excellent and always with a smile and a little chat. We had a beautiful room which was very clean, newly renovated and with nice modern interior, the bed very comfy. We loved the spectacular views from the room and amazing infinity pool. The gardens with nice plants and flowers were well looked after and it was nice to walk to the garden to the breakfast area. We would highly recommend the restaurant EL RESTO Bar, where we enjoyed most tasty and creative dinners. Thank you so much.Guest review byKatrinGermany
- From US$187.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 265 reviewsBeautiful, well-kept small hotel with great facilities in Pelion mountains. We booked three rooms at Iokavakis which all were large, clean, and had a jacuzzi and balcony with a breathtaking view of the sea (about 500 m away). Breakfasts were great and served in the garden behind olive trees. The very nice spa is free for two hours a day, but it has to be booked in advance, preferably a day before. There are several good restaurants in a radius of 2-3 km. The hotel is not far away from the beaches at the inner and outer Pelion and from mountain sightseeing sites.Guest review byIlyaIsrael

There wwere 2 parking places which was ok but you need to be a bit careful with the car. The hotel staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of good information and places to visit which was worth it a lot. We really appreciate the time that they spent with us on giving some historical details and very nice information about the city. The breakfast options were excellent.Guest review byAnastasiosFrance
- From US$99.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 624 reviewsThe hotel was very nice, clean and the design was traditional and in line with the local architecture. The swimming pool was very nice when we visited during July. The staff was super accomodating and they offered us a take away breakfast as we needed to check out before the breakfast official opening. Our choice of room was on the small side and I would upgrade to a bigger room if I would stay there for longer than 1-2 nightsGuest review bykonstantinosSwitzerland

A trip to the east coast of the peninsula is a must, thanks to passing and parking in beautiful villages built on the sides of the mountains, the road is in very good condition with twists and clear signage. A cruise along the remote beaches of the island with caves and refreshing swimming. The restaurant, whose name I don't remember from the caves, serves tourists and therefore charges an exorbitant price for a small fish and very poor and rather dismissive service.Guest review byshoshaiIsrael - 10.0

Very beautiful traditional Greek mountain village with small shops (local products) and few restaurants. Difficult to find parking in the center of the village, one public parking but it's very small. Easy to make road trips around Pelion area - go around if you have a car, this is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece (also in summer, not only winter). Some part of the roads (in Pelion area, not in Portaria) were destroyed in winter 2024 during storms. Unfortunately, they were still destroyed in July 2024. You can go around by car, roads are not closed, but needs a bit attention in many places and wouldn't recommend to drive at night (dark). Time from Portaria to beach (Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero) took from us abt 40 min so take your time. To Village "Kala Nera" (nice beach, long with plenty of place in July) a bit less.Guest review byPIALIISAGreece - 10.0

The village may look small, but it has everything you need – supermarkets, souvenir shops, cozy restaurants and cafés, a bakery, a children’s playground, and a newly renovated church. From here, you can enjoy a walk along the promenade to Kato Gatzea or Koropi. A short 10-minute drive takes you up into the mountains to the beautiful villages of Vizitsa and Milies. In the other direction, you can visit the Voliotis family olive mill or head to Ano Lechonia to catch the little train for a picturesque ride through the mountains.Guest review byIvan TsolovBulgaria - 10.0

Tsagarada is a charming village, renowned for its extraordinary natural beauty and unique setting. Settled in the heart of a chestnut forest, it attracts many visitors during the summertime who come to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking views and offering of an excellent traditional cuisine deeply rooted in the Pelion region’s rich culinary heritage. Founded in 1500, Tsagarada is composed of four picturesque settlements, each centered around beautifully restored old churches: Taxiarches, Agia Paraskevi, Agia Kyriaki, and Agios Stephanos. These churches are notable for their exquisite wooden carved iconostases. Tsagarada offers a perfect blend of nature, history, and tradition, making it a truly unforgettable destination.Guest review byTihomir NikolovskiNorth Macedonia - 10.0
It is a nice place.
It is a nice place. A bit far and not so easy to reach, but definitely worth of visiting. There is a long public beach of about 2 km of length and a nudist beach (Parisena's) of about 400 meters, so there is a place for everyone. The restaurants are good, but tricky: the waiters are bringing you unwanted stuff like bottled water, bread, which aren't included into the price of the meal you order and the bills are not detailed, so you have the feeling of being cheated. Chorefto is nice for long evening walks, and you also have hiking trails alongside the sea. There's a lot of stray dogs, cats and mosquitoes (so take a repellent with you!).Guest review byM.Serbia - 10.0

Small village who keeps the traditional architecture .
Small village who keeps the traditional architecture . All new houses are builded with same structure. Has downtown and hill position. There is inly one market and one mini market, and one souvenir shop. But there are many restaurant and caffe shops, so you can enjoy in greek food. The bigest problem in Affissos is parking , and very rare any accommodation to have parking place. All the cars are parked even on the street ( and the street is very narrow) even on the beach waht is immediately after the vilage. Access to the sea from my accommodation was just 50 m. You can swim there if you want, but if you want to go on beach than you should walk for not more than 10 min, about 300-400 m to the Abovos beach.near by there are two more beach, but on the others the problem is parking. On Abovos you have enough parking all day. The water is warm and calm all day.Guest review byGordanaNorth Macedonia - 10.0

We visited Mouresi in April when it was in full spring bloom and was low season as the high season is summer when people come to enjoy the beach. We were there to walk the ancient paths that criss-cross the peninsula between villages that date from centuries of use by the people that have lived there. It is a quaint rural area of Greece! There is not a lot of cultural sightseeing...just quaint villages and windy hairpin turn roads with the ocean and beaches, making for a laid-back vacation. We were there to hike but it would be too hot in the summer.Guest review byKayUnited States - 10.0

It is a place for quiet holiday, small but cozy village down the mountain, with different beaches and a lot of trees (there is a woods of chestnut and platan trees on the mountain above and in the village). Hiking, who like it, is beautiful. Still, you need a car to go to other villages on the mountain, or some other beaches if you like, but the road is full of curves and steep.Guest review byLjiljanaSerbia
