- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 66 reviewsEveryone was extremely genuinely friendly, which seems to be the way in the Cyclades. Of course, the breakfast was amazing, and it was in an open-air space protected from the sun. Actually, much of the hotel was open-air, including the reception desk. It was also just across the small road from the beach, and the hotel owns a stretch of beach just for the guests. It is well located to catch the sunrise, which can be spectacular, and even just walking around the neighborhood is interesting as there are a number of small farms and the like. Some ways down the beach are some excellent restaurants. You don't need a car at all if you are just coming to relax. The masseuse at the hotel did an excellent job on me. She could really dig in and get the knots out of my muscles. After my session, I didn't have any aches or pains at night as I otherwise so often do.Guest review byOliverPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 239 reviewsWe fell in love with Louis Studios, the staff was super friendly. The place was very clean and the pool was the best part. They had these wonderful bed by the pool and a great little food kitchen by the pool for room service too. Marie and her mother were the best cooks, the food was absolutely delicious. This hotel is located away from all the hustle and busy areas, but if you rent a car you can be anywhere in less the 15 to 25 min. We ate at Mario Restaurant which came highly recommended and did not disappoint. There is a black sand beach is just steps away, where you can watch the sunrise. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Santorini.Guest review byKELLYUnited States

The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the facilities were outstanding - especially the beautiful & peaceful rock-pool which added a unique charm to the experience. The staff was incredible and always willing to help, making us feel welcomed at every moment. A special mention goes to Nikos, who from the very first moment offered us the best possible service. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine willingness to assist made our stay even more memorable. - Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 202 reviewsWe loved staying in the cream suite with our very own pool, private entrance and balcony. The room was super spacious and facilities were great. The staff were all very kind and very professional. The reception staff were always available and ready to help. The views from the hotel is amazing and breakfast in the balcony was incredible. I also thoroughly enjoyed the massage I got from Eri, the on site physical therapist. She is a trained professional and masseuse - best and most relaxing massage I’ve gotten so far.Guest review byRakshitaIreland

On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. As long as you can look to the sea you will have great sunset views wherever you are,my hotel patio was great for this.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The beach is fine, enough place for everyone, but I would not stay there longer than one day beacause the sand is only on the beach and when you enter the sea there is only lava. It was interesting experience, but I would definitely not recommend especially if you are travelling with children - it is very slippery and it is easy to fall down and hurt yourself on a rock. The place itself is nice but I doubt I will return to such a beach. But that was nice to try at least :DGuest review byAleksandraSerbia - 10.0

Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.Guest review bySherman SiegeLuxembourg - 8.0

A village with bakery, gyros place, souvenir shop & good sized mini market. Walkable to Fura though a noisy main road. Buses good too but more value for money the further you are going. Taxis quite expensive so we walked a lot.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely village but getting very busy.
Lovely village but getting very busy. Restaurants were excellent and staff in them very polite and attentive. Greece is not cheap these days so you have to pay the same as in UK for meals etc. Wine is very expensive but nice to see that they only sell Greek wine in supermarkets and restaurants.Guest review byElaineUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Liked that it was away from Fira. Fira so crowded.
Liked that it was away from Fira. Fira so crowded. One day 6 cruise ships in Port. We ate 2 nights at Romantica taverna. Traditional Greek restaurant, good food and happy staff. Easy to walk around in you don't mind stairs and uphill. Walk from Fira to Oia 10km, something to do and overview of area.Guest review bySusanAustralia - 10.0
