Very clean everywhere, the room, the garden, the beach. Fine sand on the beach, the sea water was clean, and the beach chairs had clean towel covers every day. The staff was fantastic everywhere we went, beach, reception, restaurant, always available to assist you and go above and beyond your request. The location was nice. The beach was very spacious. Nikiti is an ideal town for families with children, especially those aged 1–12. Everything is within walking distance. The beach and sea are perfect for kids, and the restaurants are family-friendly. There are also toy machines for children to play with. If you want to experience real nice place with fabulous sightseeing views long up and down walks with very nice sandy beach at the end of the city and not so far away other beautiful beaches - Neos is jut a right fit! It has the scent of old towns at the cliff but in the same time it has a layers of modernity embroidered throughout the scape. If it is more for young people? Maybe, if you don't like to walk but there is round walk next to the sea side as well... The roads surrounded by lush green trees and the coves we visited were stunning. The sea was beautiful, and the views were breathtaking, though it was a bit crowded. The beaches in Kalamitsi are top-notch.
The beaches in Kalamitsi are top-notch. The food is remarkably good too in the local tavernas. However, it's a longer distance from the city of Thessaloniki (2-2.5 hours depending on where you start your trip from) and there are not many things to do in Kalamitsi regarding night life. While this energy may appeal to some, it also means that many areas are filled with tourist traps, where overpriced souvenirs and services are hard to avoid. The more attractive beaches, with cleaner waters and better facilities, often come with noticeably higher charges, which can quickly add up for families. The bustling atmosphere leaves little space for relaxation, and navigating the crowds with children can be challenging.
