Covered by natural pine forests, Skopelos is one of the greenest islands in the Aegean Sea and the largest island in the Sporades group. This colorful paradise features crystal clear waters, pebble beaches, blue caves, charming villages and imposing churches.
Skopelos Town is a maze of picturesque cobbled streets, traditional whitewashed houses, red-tiled roofs and small taverns. - Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 162 reviewsWe absolutely loved our stay at Panormos Beach Hotel. What awaits you is a beautiful hotel with a stunning infinity pool where you feel in paradise each day you go for a swim. The staff is sooo friendly … from Daffy at reception who sorted out so many things for us, like boat trips and taxi rides and Fotis with lovely tips on the island. At the bar Georgie and Josas served us lovely cocktails and snacks each day. Martin the chef of the onsite restaurant Eólia is not only a wonderful cook but also a lovely person. Don’t miss out on his cuisine and on the weekly bbq night. The cleaning team is unstoppable and wonderful in keeping rooms and hotel areas impeccable. This all due to a wonderful management lead by the owner Angelo who is such a kind and hands on manager. It all feels like a big family.Guest review byDorisPortugal

The suite offered a super nice view of the sea, making every morning a sweet wake-up. The staff was exceptional—warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. Skopelos town is beautiful as you would expect and you have everything you need a short stroll away. Supermarkets, bakeries and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Amazing in the evening and very vibrant. Romantic dinners by the shore along with cool cocktail bars in the backstreets. Great vibe.Guest review byChristosAustralia - 10.0
Getting to the island was a little bit of a challenge but...
Getting to the island was a little bit of a challenge but very much worth it. The beaches around the island are absolutely beautiful with crystal clear waters, and they are a short drive away from Stafylos which makes it an ideal base location. Moped and car rental is very cheap, we rented a moped for 12 days which cost around £140. The island was of course one of the filming locations for Mamma Mia! so if you are interested in visiting them there are tours available, but I would personally recommend doing some research before you visit and explore yourself. The Chapel of St. John is one location that is in particularly beautiful, and I would recommend visiting around dusk as the sky is like a painting. The town offers amazing places to eat and drink, depending where you go the prices vary but there is lots to choose from, I would recommend Kochylis bakery and patisserie for breakfast and lunch, and there is a food van near in the evenings that offer a traditional gyros that are cheap for the portion size. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, truly beautiful place that I would happily visit again/Guest review byChristopherUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Neo Klima is a small pretty little town about halfway...
Neo Klima is a small pretty little town about halfway between Glossa and Skopelos Town. It's sunset central in our opinion! It's very much a locals town with small supermarkets and a superb bakery with cakes and pastries to bust your waistline, and a great selection of bread. It's small enough to stroll around with lots of narrow passages and alleys. The restaurants are traditional and authentic taverna style, we highly recommend Manolis in particular. There's also a great bar at the seafront close to Hovolo beach called Madalaki for coffee and snacks, and they do a great Mojito! It's much busier during July and August with some great watersports available along the seafront, and parking is really easy and free. It's almost deserted during the low seasons. The area close to the harbour arm where the yachts moor has a real village ambience where locals hold events for the community. The piece-de-resistance has to be the backdrop to Neo Klima - it is bright green pine and cypress forest that tumbles down to the sea on all sides, and the fresh pine fragrance is intoxicating.Guest review bydarrenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Panormos is maybe the best spot on Skopelos island, great...
Panormos is maybe the best spot on Skopelos island, great natural beauty and facing south-you can swim with all weathers, meltemi included! Many nice restaurants, friendly people, quiet and cool spot is you are not located on the main road. Try the Kraken, certainly, for food and drinks! Try the Espresso for all-day delights, try Linarakia, Nikos, Yiannis and Vasiliki restaurants for quality greek food. Frequent connection with the port by decent, airconditioned busses, too. The only disadvantage is maybe the very road that brings you to Panormos, as it runs across it and one has to be very careful, either when driving through or when crossing on foot to the sea. If you have a choice, avoid the month of August, at least the first 3 weeks of it ...Guest review byRANGOUSSI - 10.0

If you want a stay to relax in a gorgeous village high in the mountains with amazing views easy access to the magnificent beaches of Skopelo this is the place to stay. The apartment is like a little cottage clean and has all amenities even an external laundry. You will not want to leave and the host is very accommodating not that you will need her my experience with the host was the introduction to the place she was very thorough showed us every nook and cranny. The village has two mini supermarkets and a few restaurants/tavern, and a gorgeous bakery.Everything is walking distance. This village is super stunning the locals very friendly. Total quiet during the night, waking up to the noise of roosters, church bells and the smell coming from the bakery.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 8.0

Agnontas is a beautiful, clean small village set among pine trees and mountains. A small bay with a lovely beach and crystal clear waters, sailing boats and fishing boats. The village only boasts a general store and three Taverna, local homes and some with accommodation for guests, Close enough to Skopelos Town by bus or taxi, within walking distance of Limnonari beach and natural beauty hiking paths. This village is quiet and peace-filled. The three Taverna offer both authentic Greek food, Seafood and one offers a fusion-variety of Greek food.Guest review byFionaGreece - 8.0

Exploring Glossa is an absolute joy if you enjoy taking photos, it's very beautiful. Unfortunately, despite visiting mid-May, many of the tavernas had yet to open for the season. One fabulous find was Rouga, warm welcome and lovely food.Guest review byValerieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Amazing, busy, beautiful. Good value for money.
Amazing, busy, beautiful. Good value for money. If you get chance, have a walk down the front away from the centre and there are three or four tavernas on the front. Eat your meal on the waters edge, overlooking the port and the town as the sun goes down.Guest review byRob - 8.0

Very scenic location with one of the most beautiful and accesible beaches on the island and a very good and affordable restaurant with incredible view. On the downside is that the beach is quite narrow and every day or so the passing sea jet will cause huge waves which sweep away everything that sits on the beach. Also, beach bar is very expensive with a very basic selection of foods and drinks.Guest review byDIMITRIOSGreece - 10.0

A beautiful small village and (in September) very quiet, without crowds and with a lot of free parking space. There is also a very nice marina, beautiful small church and few beaches reachable on foot. Also good spot to visit all parts of the island.Guest review byNenadSerbia
