- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 122 reviewsWe had an absolutely wonderful stay in Symi, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing host. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond—meeting us at the ferry, taking us directly to the property, and even offering a ride back when we departed. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with excellent recommendations for places to visit around the island that truly made our trip special. The property itself was in a fantastic location with a stunning view that we never got tired of. It was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfectly situated for exploring the island. One of the best surprises was the fridge stocked with breakfast items, even though it wasn’t mentioned in the listing—such a thoughtful touch. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us, which we really appreciated. And we can’t forget the delicious homemade cookies from the host’s wife—an absolute treat! Overall, this was a truly memorable stay and we’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Symi. It’s rare to find such a warm and accommodating host paired with a beautiful and well-located property. We’d definitely love to come back!Guest review byTomsLatvia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 267 reviewsWe had a great few days in Symi. We took the ferry from Rhodes, got picked up by the hotel and also dropped off once we had to leave again which was very convenient. All staff were extremely helpful and kind and there for any questions. Pictures met reality. If you are interested in not staying in Symi's port area itself but a bit more isolated, then Pedi beach is a good choice. There is a bus for 2€ into town running every hour until 10pm but you can also rent scooters, quads or cars. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to relax!Guest review byAnnikaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 242 reviewsWe truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fiona - the view from the rooms are amazing and the location, away from the tourist bustle at the harbor below, is excellent. Perhaps even more importantly, the staff were incredibly kind and made us feel welcome from the second we arrived. Even though we arrived with a morning ferry hours before the check-in time, we were immediately invited in for a complimentary breakfast. When we had to cut our stay short due to an issue with the ferry, the staff were also very accommodating. This is a special place.Guest review byHuyGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 652 reviewsHotel had a recently renovation and my room looked amazing. Unfortunately my view was not enjoyable as my window was faced to a roof and other house. On the day of my booking I couldn’t find any room with Sea View, so just be in mind in case you’re expecting a nice view. Staff was super super friendly, love seat area outside, also breakfast can be in front of the sea. Location is amazing, close to everything and also less busy than the normal tourist area.Guest review byLuanaIreland

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 68 reviewsA small jewel in the beautiful island of Symi, right in the heart of Kalistrata, the great, ancient staircase that from the port comes to the upper part of the island. Confidentiality, silence, courtesy from all staff. Traditional environment finished with modernity and elegance. Delicious continental breakfast enriched with fresh local ingredients and views of the small, magnificent port of Symi. Absolutely recommendedGuest review byAlbertoFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 712 reviewsWe really liked how the hotel was not in the center and had therefore a calm atmosphere. We could relax and enjoy the beach. A couple steps next to the hotel there are water taxis which take you to amazing beaches. There is also a bus stop which directly takes you to the city center. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly providing us with everything.Guest review byGazel FikriyeGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 254 reviewsFirst of all the host was so helpful - even before my arrival he helped me with an ferry cancelation issue. At my arrival he offered important information about the island. The place is central. Very cosy and well equipped. Clean and comfortable. A balcony and in addition cosy sitting corners outside. I will be happy to come back next time I visit Symi.Guest review bykeren naomiIsrael

I'd absolutely recommend symi it's a beautiful island ,stunning even. If I could give one piece of advice it would be to go for a few days not just a day boat trip from Rhodes. To fully appreciate this little island you really do need to spend at least one night this would allow you to at least be able to explore the old town above the harbour with its very steep and narrow lanes plus two or three excellent restaurants.Be aware that that the old town above the harbour is accessible via extremely steep stairways extremely steep.Guest review byIainUnited Kingdom - 10

Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village on top of it. Beautiful beaches, scattered all around the island. Some of them reachable by bus, taxi or on foot, others are reachable by taxi boat. Love Agios Nikolaos and fish tavern on it with fresh wild fish, love swimming from Agia Marina to small island with the little church there. Of course, Agios Georgios is incredible place. The island is not for mass tourism, of course the boats come during a day, but most of them are not staying overnight. Some wildlife - spotted seal on the beach in Nimborio, and the other person saw turtles on Marathounda beach. Excellent taverna Tholos, close to port, our long time favorite, also liked a lot Zoe and Kali strata in the village. And for a Christian, it is a must to visit both Archangel Michael monasteries - Panormitis (newer) and Roukouniotis (older) with frescoes that date back to 15th century. Also, for an Orthodox a surprise visit to Sergii Sarovski church.Guest review byTatianaRussia - 10

The island has beautiful beaches which can be accessed by water taxi. The swimming and snorkelling are amazing. We saw a variety of fish, squid and a turtle. The harbour area is quite commercial and busy when the day trippers are there. However, when they have returned to Rhodes, it;s a very peaceful island. It's worth exploring the many small streets and myriads of steps that wind up the hillside. It's easy to get lost but that's part of the fun. The food shops are relatively small but we found plenty for self-catering. There are some very good restaurants in the town (there were some super-yachts staying every night we were there) and the prices we paid weren't too bad. It's a very special island and well worth a stay.Guest review byJacky EdgellUnited Kingdom
