The friendliness of the staff, especially Giannis and Andromachi, made us feel at home. The cleanness of the rooms; surprisingly, the cleaner lady seemed very willing as well as all the staff were very pleasant and polite. Finally, the location was perfect, just a few minutes from the commercial centre, restaurants, and bars. Also, Azur is in close proximity to the port, which gives you the opportunity to travel to one of the nearby islands. We had a rented car which we could park at a nearby covered parking lot at a very reasonable fee. Driving to the Pelion villages was ideal as we could return back to hotel after a day trip and chill out at the nearby bars or traditional tsipouradika.

Hello to my fellow travelers. The location - perfect. The view of the lake - perfect. The sunrise combined with the lake - stunning - and all from the room/balcony. The room, which is actually an apartment - at a level of perfection - large and fully equipped! The awareness of service - is above and beyond - everything is done with patience and a smile. There is a restaurant on site and a perfect place for coffee or another drink - and all with kindness. What an excellent place to choose for a short or a long stay in Pelion! We are very happy to have stayed there for a long weekend at the end of the summer. The hotel has been recently renovated, so, everything is new and of top quality. It is located under the shade of the beautiful huge trees in the village square. Waking up and being surrounded by these beautiful trees offered us great and positive energy! We booked and stayed in the family deluxe room which was spacious and it also had a large sofa and a studying desk. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and they went out of their way in order to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mr Christos, thank you mrs Lili and all the rest of the staff. We were offered freshly made home made plum jam as a special treat! Whatever was offered in the breakfast area, it was of excellent quality. Their priority was to offer seasonal local fruits. We were lucky enough to be there and taste the first local apples of the season. Two different types of local homemade pies were on offer every day in the breakfast buffet. Lili prepared traditional loukoumades, which were served with the famous local honey of Pelion. Besides, coffee was included in the price, whereas, it is common practice to be charged extra for hot drinks at breakfast time, in other hotels imin Pelion. The atmosphere in this small traditional hotel is friendly and relaxing. The top quality bed linen and mattresses ensured that we slept very well. Also, the hotel has a centrally installed heating and cooling system. However, the trees in the square offered sufficient shade and coolness, therefore, we didn’t need to use the cooling system in August. We would love to visit this beautiful hotel in winter and experience staying there again. Once again, thank you for your hospitality!🙏

    We were pleasantly surprised with a completely unexpected and beautiful upgrade to the Nest Infinity room with a hot tub. Staff is very kind, friendly and accommodating! The selection of different areas and beaches in the resort is unmatched - you can watch both - sunrise and sunset from the beaches reached by foot or a complementary buggy. Food and coffee were great. Housekeeping and hot tub cleaning were done exemplary well! Our chihuahua dog travelling with us also had one of the best times of her life!

    I had a fantastic time at la piscine hotel in Skiathos. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful especially at reception – always ready with a smile and great local tips. The buffet was fresh and full of variety,, with delicious Greek options and something new to try each day. Skiathos itself is stunning – beautiful beaches, clear water, and a relaxed vibe. The hotel was the perfect base for exploring the island.

    I requested a quiet sea view room and that which I was allocated was just perfect; on the uppermost floor and away from any nighttime entertainment noise. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. The ambience in the dining room where breakfast is served is superb; calm and well-organised with wonderful sea views and the variety of food offered is great. the coffee is very good 👍🏼 Free parking is a real bonus.

    Location next to Meteora, town size, great restaurants, friendliness of our hostess, Meteora-e- Bike Rental at Ianninon 4 near roundabout and square where we rented bikes first day for sunset tour and second day in our own to visit Monasteries. We were also fortunate to watch a procession in town to celebrate Saint Francis of Assisi that included monks, priests, folks in traditional dress, and a marching band.

    We liked Skiathos Garden theatre, Alexandros Papadiamantis museum, gift shops and coffee shops, the Bourtzi peninsula and Maritime museum. Our favourite restaurants were: Asprolithos, Dinos, Manavaki, Pikantiko, O Batis, Phaos. It's very easy to walk around Skiathos Town. There are boat trips to various beaches and Skopelos Mamma Mia tour. There's a Greek dance workshop at Skiathos Garden Theatre on Tuesdays and Fridays.

    A trip to the east coast of the peninsula is a must, thanks to passing and parking in beautiful villages built on the sides of the mountains, the road is in very good condition with twists and clear signage. A cruise along the remote beaches of the island with caves and refreshing swimming. The restaurant, whose name I don't remember from the caves, serves tourists and therefore charges an exorbitant price for a small fish and very poor and rather dismissive service.

    Skopelos town is beautiful as you would expect and you have everything you need a short stroll away. Supermarkets, bakeries and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Amazing in the evening and very vibrant. Romantic dinners by the shore along with cool cocktail bars in the backstreets. Great vibe.

    Staying in Larisa is like staying in Thessaloniki only the distances are all walkable and everywhere you go is safe! You will enjoy the BEST coffee in all Greece no doubt and the food options are many and will satisfy all needs! The shops are also top quality with normal prices and you will find a place to have a ether a quiete or a loud drink every night

It's good to have a car (and even better a 4X4), since most beaches are not in walking distance. Chora (the old village) is really pittoresque.

    Very beautiful traditional Greek mountain village with small shops (local products) and few restaurants. Difficult to find parking in the center of the village, one public parking but it's very small. Easy to make road trips around Pelion area - go around if you have a car, this is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece (also in summer, not only winter). Some part of the roads (in Pelion area, not in Portaria) were destroyed in winter 2024 during storms. Unfortunately, they were still destroyed in July 2024. You can go around by car, roads are not closed, but needs a bit attention in many places and wouldn't recommend to drive at night (dark). Time from Portaria to beach (Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero) took from us abt 40 min so take your time. To Village "Kala Nera" (nice beach, long with plenty of place in July) a bit less.

    Lovely beachfront with great restaurants - with the backdrop of green forested mountains. Beautiful, but you also need to hire a vehicle to get around the mountain passes to other picture perfect beaches like Milopotamos or Ntamouchari.

    This is a spacious and well thought out property . Gorgeous interior and everything thought about from the use of space , seating area/breakfast bar and kitchen with a really large balcony. The bed is very big and extremely comfortable, if I had one criticism it would be that I could hear our neighbours shower or use of their hairdryer but this was only something minor. Excellent property and value for money in a beautiful location , 10 min walk into Skiathos town but if you don’t fancy the walk some beautiful tavernas on your doorstop , would 100% stay again and recommend.
