Reception Drago is super nice and helpful! The parking place is 10 mins walk from the hotel. He came to the parking lot to help us with 2 big suitcases. And we learned that he used to be an Olympics champion in 2004! Can’t believe that we met an Olympics champion in Croatia.

Great variety of food and drinks available at every meal (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner), and throughout the day. The staff was very polite and informative and always strived to help at any request. The room was clean and modern (we even got a free upgrade to a bigger one than booked which was great!) and had all the necessary facilities. Many activities were available, from renting bikes to tennis courts, pool aerobics and many more! The beach was so close to the hotel that you could grab a drink, take a couple of steps and be on the sea already. All in all an amazing experience!

Everything was perfect. The hotel is right by the sea, which is really great. We had a family room, which was spacious and big, even the balcony was spacious with a sea view. Just the mattresses in the bed could be better , otherwise everything was perfect, even the food was very tasty. Every evening we took a walk into town. There was always some music playing and lots of souvenir stalls.

This camping was just Great! The mobile home was very very clean, everything good. We are used with campings in France where you have to pay extra for everything like bed sheets, towels, cleaning up, and here we were surprised everything was included. The position of the camping is really nice, next to the beach and to the area with restaurants and bars.

Such a cool city, is like going back in time with all the old city walls and forts. Definitely get the Dubrovnik pass to do the city walls and Fort Lovrjenac - some of the museums are cool too and quite easy to do in 20-30mins each. This pass also gets you free buses on the city buses, get the “Moovit” app to see what bus to get/what time they are at. Mount Srd at sunset was another highlight, also get to see the old town in night lighting on the way back - walked it instead of getting the cable car which is very overpriced imo, ~7km loop from Pile to the top and back, some dodgy rocky areas but mostly fine. City in general is very busy (even in October), must be crazy in summer, and quite pricey like all touristy places (Paris, London, Barcelona) but bakeries all over the city make for easy cheap meals.

Split & the whole of Croatia has so much history to explore. I would recommend a walking tour, unfortunately we did not have enough time. The shops are lovely to walk around, blended into Diocletian's palace, beautiful place. Picasso's cafeb/bar beside our accommodation was lovely for breakfast, get there early as it fills up quickly. So many fab ice cream stores. Good night life but also feels very safe

A charming old town with a lovely port. The climb to the mausoleum is well worth the effort, offering views around the headland. We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!
