Such a cool city, is like going back in time with all the old city walls and forts. Definitely get the Dubrovnik pass to do the city walls and Fort Lovrjenac - some of the museums are cool too and quite easy to do in 20-30mins each. This pass also gets you free buses on the city buses, get the “Moovit” app to see what bus to get/what time they are at. Mount Srd at sunset was another highlight, also get to see the old town in night lighting on the way back - walked it instead of getting the cable car which is very overpriced imo, ~7km loop from Pile to the top and back, some dodgy rocky areas but mostly fine. City in general is very busy (even in October), must be crazy in summer, and quite pricey like all touristy places (Paris, London, Barcelona) but bakeries all over the city make for easy cheap meals.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A charming old town with a lovely port.
A charming old town with a lovely port. The climb to the mausoleum is well worth the effort, offering views around the headland. There a plenty of restaurants offering great food and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the views across the bay. Dubrovnik is in easy reach from here by boat or bus making it an ideal place to stay.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We loved the three island hop on hop off tour.
We loved the three island hop on hop off tour. Our favourite place was Lambarda. We ate at a sea side restaurant and swam afterwards. Had we stayed longer and the weather cooperated we would have liked to do the buggy ride, wine tour.Guest review byGeorgeCanada - 10.0

We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!Guest review byBarbaraUnited States - 10.0
Lovely beaches.
Lovely beaches. Plenty of restaurants, lovely area to walk around at night. Orebic is small enough to wander around. The port has a buzz about it with ferry information. Easy to catch the frequent ferry to kortular island Have a wander a round the old town then a meal in Spectacular tree lined restaurant area under the castle.Guest review bylyndaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The Arboretum Trsteno was an interesting place, a respite from the heat. It was cool in the trees. Game of Thrones episodes are filmed at the fountain! But there is no cafe, only a vending machine. Walking down to the sea for a swim was worth it, but you need sturdy footwear, water and snacks.Guest review byClaire ZingelNew Zealand - 10.0

Friendly, helpful, and genuine owner, who was very kind and accommodating. Fresh figs on the table! We highly recommend this property for anyone who needs a walk-to lodging from the airport. There is even a diner 2 blocks away.Guest review byFranklinNicaragua - 10.0
We loved Ston!
We loved Ston! The little town and the wall walk were awesome. We loved our location and the restaurant was delicious! Our room was very good. All the people in the town that we met were wonderful and many people helped us out when our car broke down. We had a great time!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Vela Luka is a hidden gem!
Vela Luka is a hidden gem! It’s not overly touristic, which was exactly the appeal for us. The days are slow and relaxed, the food is delicious, and the people are lovely — it feels like a more authentic side of Croatia. It’s the perfect place to unwind, but at the same time there’s plenty to do. We went scuba diving, spent time at the beach, tried different restaurants, and enjoyed walking around. Honestly, we could have easily stayed at least two weeks just relaxing and exploring the different areas. We were there for 3 days and 3 nights, and it wasn’t nearly enough!Guest review byPascale AljureColombia - 6.0

It was very quiet, which I liked but I went with my daughter (22). There was not much happening in Slano. I think it's more for retirement aged people. Supermarkets were dreadful Picturesque though and the sea was so cleanGuest review byFiIreland
