The hotel is new and modern, nicely arranged. Our room was bright and spacious with a view, the bed was large and comfy, and the shower was excellent. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. But above all, the stuff is superb.

The host was incredibly kind and helpful. I accidentally left a pair of shorts at the apartment, and the host patiently packed and shipped them back to me — I’m so grateful! The apartment itself has a stunning view facing the beautiful Adriatic Sea, and the location is excellent — just a short 5-minute walk to the Old Town. Highly recommended

The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home. Best of all are the hosts, who are extremely kind and will do everything to make us happy. We loved everything about the Vela Luka and the accommodation. The hotel is directly in the center, guests have free parking. The equipment in the room is beautiful and new, everything was super clean and smelled nice. The view from the room is directly to the sea. We went for a swim to Pičenda beach (several beaches are easily accessible by car) and also took a walk around Vela Spila cave (there are several options from 2km up to 14 km walks).

    best sea view, spacious apartment, close to la banya, a very good beach bar, where you can have a nice food with a good music. there's a garage on the building to park your car. The gym is amazing, diverse equipments and beautiful sea view! Close to the old center and you can get the electric scooter for 13 euros to reach the main square. Marina at the reception was a great host and very helpful with her tips. we will definitely come back! Korcula is a special island but don't spread it around in order to continue this peaceful nature paradise!

    What a wonderful and peaceful place at the end of a small village directly connected to the bay and the sea. The apartment „inspiration“ has been completely refurbished and we enjoyed it’s wide terrace with a marvelous view at the sea.     Just so easy to get around, Korcula is a jewel in the Croatian crown. With plenty to see in Korcula, three days also gave us time to visit local islands, beaches and wineries too. The climb to Korcula viewpoint (many steps of course) was well worth it and we got some amazing photos. So many great place to eat in the town, on the city edge above the water and in the alleyways. We loved it.

    Vela Luka is a hidden gem!

    Vela Luka is a hidden gem! It’s not overly touristic, which was exactly the appeal for us. The days are slow and relaxed, the food is delicious, and the people are lovely — it feels like a more authentic side of Croatia. It’s the perfect place to unwind, but at the same time there’s plenty to do. We went scuba diving, spent time at the beach, tried different restaurants, and enjoyed walking around. Honestly, we could have easily stayed at least two weeks just relaxing and exploring the different areas. We were there for 3 days and 3 nights, and it wasn’t nearly enough!

    Lumbarda, lovely beaches and one of the best Croatian wineries (Bire) just next to the beautiful city of Korčula. You get to see both, and all the islands in front (use hop on and off option!) while relaxing. Korčula gets crowded and is a bit pricey. Lumbarda is thus much better stay

    Prizba is a relatively small and quite resort but still has plenty to do for a family. Around the harbour and beach are there four bars, three of which serve food, and there a few other restaurants within a short walk or drive. There are paddleboards, kayaks, pedalos, windsurfers, jetskis and boats all available to hire from here. The coastline around here is stunning. There is only one small convenvenience store in Prizba so you need to drive about 10k to Blato for a larger supermarket.

    We enjoyed Blato - a bog village / a small town - very much for its relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere (people greet you in the streets) and comfortable stay. If you do not insist on living within walking distance from the beach but like to taste the life of locals, this is a good place to go.

    Very picturesque town, wonderful beaches, there is a shop, cafe, two restaurants. The huge disadvantage of this place is that on weekends you can only get there by taxi, which costs 30 euros from Korčula.

    Beautiful picturesque village with absolutely amazing quiet port offering excellent swimming opportunities. Felt like having your own swimming pool! Just go downstairs a couple of meters and enjoy cristal clear sea bathe! We bought fresh fish and sea food from super friendly local merchant and enjoyed grilling and dinning. Unforgetable experience!

    40 minutes to Korčula city, 10 minutes to Vela Luka and 5 to...

    40 minutes to Korčula city, 10 minutes to Vela Luka and 5 to Blato (best pizza on island-Tinel). Roads on the island are excellent and easy to drive. Prigradica is small village on the coast with some beautiful villas on the both sides of road with excellent sea view. There are couple of restaurants and one shop I think. One beach bar Tempera. Evenings are quiet and peaceful. Main village beach have easy entrance in/out sea, on other places you need some experience. There were lot of winds during our stay and the waves sometimes prevent swimming, so we drive on that days to calm coves on south coast. You can find shade of pines just right of Tempera and on few places on city beach.

    A great little town with much fewer visitors than Dubrovnik for example, a very pleasant town and harbour to wander round with plenty of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours, easy to get ferries to other islands or just across the bay to a swimming spot.
