The hotel's rooms are very comfortable. The sea view is simply stunning. The indoor pools and wellness are very nice. The staff is welcoming and polite. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are amazing too. The food was delicious and the menu is really rich. Accessibility to beach is also a plus, as well as the location of the hotel. We will definitely come back again!

They really have a fantastic costumer service, every member of the staff deserves a raise/bonus. 👏 The location is also great right at the sea & they also have a beach bar there, so, cocktails are always by your side. Again, the staff were super helpful, always with a smile on their face, we felt so welcomed there. They keep the hotel super clean, all the time. The parking is free & they accept dogs, so our shih-tzu also loved the stay. Oh, and they have a guy at the breakfast right outside making you as many different styles of eggs as you want, so also the breakfast is great. We must say the whole experience was so over our expectations, and we will definitely come back here for a quick getaway. Also, my wife was pregnant, so we would definitely recommend this hotel for baby-moons as it was super comfy for everything.

From the moment we arrived at The Isolano, we felt an immediate sense of ease and relaxation — the kind of atmosphere where every detail is managed so thoughtfully that you can truly switch off and enjoy. A special thanks to Sarah, whose recommendations were always spot-on and added real value to our stay. We also loved the social drink with the General Manager and other guests — a warm, convivial touch that made us feel even more welcome. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this hotel. Our dinner at The Moise was nothing short of extraordinary. A fine-dining experience that was contemporary and experimental, yet deeply rooted in the island’s heritage. The use of exceptional quality produce, sourced locally and prepared with bold creativity, resulted in dishes that were both innovative and emotionally connected to the territory. The quality of the ingredients, the creativity of the dishes, and the flawless guest experience were all at a Michelin-star level. The young and passionate team truly impressed us, with a sous-chef whose talent and dedication shine through in every plate. The wine pairing is a must — perfectly curated to elevate each course to new heights. Simply unforgettable, and an experience I would recommend to any food lover visiting Cres.

    Lovely location with fantastic views , lots of faded elegance. It’s a place that was obviously frequented by rich tourists,but time has moved on and sadly now lots of the buildings are incredibly shabby. The restaurants are of a good standard,and the fish is excellent. One of the most enjoyable things is to do the beautiful coast walk linking the towns together.

    Rijeka is my place of birth and Love it however I did have a bad experience with the accommodation and the people person on the phone line. Overall building maintenance is important if you are having a appartement for lease. It will reflect the overall rating. Quite a few restaurants we visited and visited all the places like Trsat, Kantrida, Pecine etc....

    We were in the off-season, the climate is very pleasant, there are no crowds, the quantity and quality of the restaurants are very good. The waiters are kind. Everything is within walking distance, it can be an ideal choice for families with dogs.

    The city/village is lovely. The beach area is quite clean and family-friendly. It has a small playground for children, which is a lifesaver in the hot afternoons. The restaurants are also ok: a must-try are the Bistro Pizzeria Vista and the Konoba "Nora".

    Very pretty historic town with shingle beaches nearby. Quite touristy but still has a lot of charm. The castle and the cathedral are both worth visiting. The restaurants are decent and we had polite, friendly and efficient service at every one we went too.

    It was a great place to visit with plenty of activities to keep you active such as walks and diving (Squatina Diving Centre just round the corner), or there was the beach where you could just spend the week relaxing depending on your preferences. Squatina Dive Centre was amazing and the team there were knowledgeable, friendly, multi-lingual and very welcoming.

    Malinska has a very long coast line with a multitude of beaches, from stony and secluded to small pebbles good for children. A picturesque center with a lot of eateries and bakeries, large grocery stores where you can buy excellent meats and fruits. I have been staying in Malinska for many years every September and still find new breathtaking views every time I come here.

    The city looks nice and there are many options to eat and have drinks. The beaches are beautiful and they are easily reachable on foot and with bikes that you can rent in the city. The Museum of Apoxyomenos was awesome! Worth every penny! All in all it was nice there, but the prices of drinks at cafes and bars are outrageous. We payed 7 euros for a beer at one place which was really shocking.

    Next to Opatija, Lovran is another classic, stylish destination close to the main roads leading to Croatia. Under the green mountains of the western side of Istria, villas, oldtown, rocky beaches await you with clear water and beautiful view towards Rijeka and the islands of Krk and Cres.

    Stayed in the old town which is a gem of a place, on a peninsula with lovely winding alleyways and churches. So well maintained and clean. No litter or graffiti and everything picture perfect! And there were good places to swim on small beaches below the bell towers. There was also a large sandy bay about 10 mins walk outside the old town near the Valamar hotel. We ate at the beachside bar on the seaside promenade in the old town ( at the bottom of the cliff), they did great veggie food and other options. We also loved the vegan restaurant on the main alley in the old town. We would love to return.
