We stayed for eight night and it was right.
We stayed for eight night and it was right. Planning each excursion and tour and other sight. We felt it just right. And really love the city. The Gastronomy is a beaut and the Karlivacko Radler was our favourite even the cakes and we ate at Buffet Fife. Wonderful place and the Marina is just great to watch. We just managed to find the way round with the help of Split map as a guide. We enjoyed all day sailing to the Solta island and stayed at Stomorska for lunch and swimming. Also to Mostar in Bosnia.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Trogir was a great base for us.
Trogir was a great base for us. We loved the old town and there are many excellent beaches on Ciovo. We could access Spilt very easily by boat and bus. Restaurants were excellent but quite expensive. There was a lot of anti-tourist graffiti on benches and doors which made us feel a bit uncomfotable.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Makarska is the capital of Makarska Riviera and has all required infrastructure with well-equipped beaches, rest areas, shops, transport connections and entertainment venues. Unfortunately, when we needed medical help and X-Ray inspection after getting trauma, we had to go to Split (State Hospital).Guest review byTimmerman - 10.0
Lovely atmosphere and very settled weather.
Lovely atmosphere and very settled weather. A variety of excursions and walks Swimming is nice but if you like sandy beaches then you need to wear waterproof shoes because the beach is stoney. Food is international but you can find Croatian dishes too.Guest review byGeoffUnited Kingdom - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland - 10.0
A small, picturesque coastal town on the island Brač.
A small, picturesque coastal town on the island Brač. In this time of the year it is vibing with peaceful, non-intruding atmosphere, nothing short from a carefully selected movie scenery of a typical adriatic costal town.Guest review byVladimirSlovenia - 10.0
This was the most scenic town of our trip around Croatia.
This was the most scenic town of our trip around Croatia. The beautiful gorge with turquoise blue water was a stunning scene. And the city lite up at night was beautiful. This town was a photographer's dream.Guest review byWally StenderCanada - 10.0

We loved the town of Podstrana, the beach areas were easy to access, there were sun loungers and umbrellas for hire if the pebble beach was too much! It was quiet season during our stay and we negotiated a discount on our sunbeds.... The bars were also quiet and some restaurants had closed. We really liked the peace and quiet and were never short of some where to eat or have drinks. The choice of watersports and boat trips was reduced due to end of season but still available on request. Recommend Konoba Carevi Dvori in Old Podstrana, you'll need a car or taxi to the top of the hill, pre-bookings only. Lovely atmosphere and setting.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 2.0
We were only there for 6 hours and it felt too long.
We were only there for 6 hours and it felt too long. I booked it to be close to the airport. Maybe if we'd checked in earlier it would have felt less creepy, but our room's lighting was awful and it was dark and empty. More like a hostel but expensive for what it offered.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom...
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Also, the supermarkets have very limited options - even the biggest one doesn’t have much variety if you’re planning to cook during your stay.Guest review byЕвгений ПрусовGermany
