Beautiful hotel with very nice, cozy rooms. The bed is very comfortable, the room has 2 balconys. Everything is very clean. The staff was so kind.     Zadar was recommended to us by friends.

    Zadar was recommended to us by friends. It was a lovely old town with loads of bars and restaurants. Everyone was friendly, we didn't see anything that made us feel unsafe. The promenade walk around the small marina at the Land Gate, to the Sea Organ and onto the larger marina was lovely. We took a boat trip to 3 islands (4 hours) on a speedboat which was really enjoyable. It might be worth checking which days the cruise ships are in port as it made a massive difference to how busy the Old Town was. We hired a car and had trips out to Zaton, Nin and Pag. Pag was amazing, it was like going to the moon next to the sea. We were forecast to have a day of thundery showers (but it never happened!) so we booked a session at the Visnjik sports centre to play Padel and keep dry. An amazing facility for any sporty people, worth a visit.

    We came across very narrow streets near the church, which amazed me—I had never seen anything like it before. There were also cozy little restaurants with delicious food for every taste, an impressive waterfront with yachts, and a sunset over the sea with islands.

    Novalja is amazing.

    Novalja is amazing. Sure, it’s full of people in the high season since the famous Zrce Beach is nearby, but I’ll definitely come back next year. Not just for the beautiful sea and beaches, but also because we never had a chance to be bored.

Restaurant Tomislav only accepted cash - with 140€ bill I would have liked to be made aware in advance Bakery staff super welcoming. Would have been good to know in advance about a public holiday the day after arrival

    We went on a sightseeing trip around Zadar.

    We went on a sightseeing trip around Zadar. The next day, we sailed by boat from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and explored the islands outside Zadar. We drove out to Krk Island and visited four wonderful places there. We ended by driving to Krka National Park. All of these were beautiful places with magnificent nature. We had a rental car, and I highly recommend it—otherwise, the stay wouldn't have been as excellent.

    Sukosan is a a good place for a quiet break.

    Sukosan is a a good place for a quiet break. The beach isn't crowded and there is a lovely atmosphere both in the daytime and evenings. We would recommend the Hotel Belvedere and Konoba Piazzetta for evening meals.

    A small city with a lot to do. Not too crowded, with a living night life. This is a city that is not well known yet and it is evolving tourist wise. Best thing for price/quality. Parking are cheap or free, restaurants are not too expensive...

    The owner was very kind and accommodating.

    The owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We ate at the public beach area which we walked to in under 10 minutes. We walked around the marina after dinner and that was a lovely family walk. Would recommend to others.

    The beaches are beautiful all around Vir, so there are plenty options to choose from. The thing I was missing was some kind of that typical promenade filled with cafes and small shops where you can stroll during the evenings.     Petrcane is a quiet village 25mins from Zadar. You would have to take a taxi. There’s everything you need for a quiet getaway but plenty to do also. The hotel which you can visit offer lovely food options and plenty of places to sit and have after dinner drinks by the beach. Zadar airport is about 45 mins away.
