Beautiful hotel with very nice, cozy rooms. The bed is very comfortable, the room has 2 balconys. Everything is very clean. The staff was so kind. The most beautiful hotel in our Croatia-Slovenia tour! Just amazing… We chose to stay in the dépendance whose rooms are renovated with unique and sophisticated style, with a Liberty taste. We enjoyed the terrace so much that we would hardly leave the room… Almayer has all that you need and will remain the best memory of Zadar for us. The breakfast in the courtyard was superlative and for dinner - after trying hard to find a better option - we also enjoyed the hotel restaurant, in the winter garden: a fantastic gastronomic experience, with a really talented chef! The only reason you may have to leave this place is to see the Sea Organ (2 min walk) or Saint Anastasia cathedral (3 min walk). I don’t understand some past reviews with negative comments on the bathroom towels as they are of excellent quality, made of organic cotton and high hand design.

Our daughter couldn’t wait for the mini disco every evening, which Hugo organized perfectly. We are currently staying at another hotel and can clearly see there is no comparison.     Everything was over our expectations. The view from our big balcony was gorgeous. The room was clean, and they cleaned it every day, including changing the bed sheets and towels. The way that the air conditioning was functioning was great. The personal was very kind and thier beach was a beautiful calm place to stay, relax and swim in the sea. The food was ok, not the best, but everything is so perfect in general that this was such a little aspect that for us didn't matter.

    We had the best time here with my family. Everything you need is here inside, lot of programs for kids and also the pool is paradise for the little ones. Sandy beach is execellent, perfect choose if you want to relax. The aparment was clear, and also the streets were beutiful with lots of trees, flowers, and you can smell lavender as you walk by.

    I travelled with my mom over 70 years old. It was very comfortable because the beach is literally under the hotel swimming pool and it was easy to go forth and back. Hotel stuff was extremely friendly on reception, at the hotel bar (really good coffee). Also cleaning service was perfect.

Restaurant Tomislav only accepted cash - with 140€ bill I would have liked to be made aware in advance Bakery staff super welcoming. Would have been good to know in advance about a public holiday the day after arrival

    Novalja is amazing.

    Novalja is amazing. Sure, it’s full of people in the high season since the famous Zrce Beach is nearby, but I’ll definitely come back next year. Not just for the beautiful sea and beaches, but also because we never had a chance to be bored.

    We went on a sightseeing trip around Zadar.

    We went on a sightseeing trip around Zadar. The next day, we sailed by boat from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and explored the islands outside Zadar. We drove out to Krk Island and visited four wonderful places there. We ended by driving to Krka National Park. All of these were beautiful places with magnificent nature. We had a rental car, and I highly recommend it—otherwise, the stay wouldn't have been as excellent.

    Sukosan is a a good place for a quiet break. The beach isn't crowded and there is a lovely atmosphere both in the daytime and evenings. We would recommend the Hotel Belvedere and Konoba Piazzetta for evening meals.

    The owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We ate at the public beach area which we walked to in under 10 minutes. We walked around the marina after dinner and that was a lovely family walk. Would recommend to others.

The thing I was missing was some kind of that typical promenade filled with cafes and small shops where you can stroll during the evenings.     Petrcane is a quiet village 25mins from Zadar. You would have to take a taxi. There’s everything you need for a quiet getaway but plenty to do also. The hotel which you can visit offer lovely food options and plenty of places to sit and have after dinner drinks by the beach. Zadar airport is about 45 mins away.
