Although consistent with the charm and charisma that Enzo has applied to his properties, it is always good to see improvement. WiFi is now satisfactory for anybody working during their stay, such as myself, considering the connection quality in the area. Heating of exceptional standard has also been installed. There is literally no location, whether it be the Danube, Astoria, Shooting Range or any other city centre landmark or POI that is not accessible within 10-15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes via electric scooter. The baths are just a 10-minute metro ride away, whereas there is an express bus stop to and from the airport (line 100E) just 7 minutes away, on foot, if carrying a suitcase and hold luggage. If you want a clean, roomy and practical private room with attached bathroom, a desk and comfortable beds, without having to pay for extras you don't need, then this Pension is for you. I stayed here last year as well, and the WiFi has improved a LOT. Plenty of sockets to charge all your gadgets. You do get towels, soap and toilet paper. The location is much better than you think, as you can get to all the major train and bus stations without changing transport.50m to the bus stop, (for Keleti and the metro)550m to Zuglo train station (for Nyugati train station) and tram station (for both bus stations). You can get to the airport in about 1h by train followed by a few stops on the 200E bus, that takes metro tickets. Budapest is a historic city with beautiful architecture and great diversity. There is always an activity to do or a place to visit. The ruin bars (i.e. Szimpla) are a must go to, and sites like Buda Castle, Margrit Island and Fisherman's Bastion are gorgeous. The city situates so many cultures, which means there's a wide range of international foods and people. Be sure to try local Peksegs and cafes, with a quick google search you can find them all around with a variety of pastries, desserts and coffees. Feel free to explore too, there's a few underground hidden gems, however, it's safer to look at reviews online first as some of the places are tourist traps. Also, it's good to know a bit of Hungarian, but most people speak English. It's a lively city, but remember to respect the locals, they are constantly accommodating tourists, so that can be overwhelming. We loved Budapest! Would visit again. It's clean, safe and has an olde world charm. It's not as hectic and busy like some of the other cities that are just over-run with tourists. Everything is well organised. Even the taxi service from the airport is exceptionally efficient. Budapest surprised and delighted us! Great restaurants and coffee shops! Budapest is easily my favorite town in Europe, and I've been to Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna and Paris. It is a beautiful city with lots of thingfs to see, the old architecture is well preserved and one of my favorite parts of Budapest. The nightlife is also great, mostly focused around a few streets in the most tourist-dense part of the city.
