Saw I was with a Kane and not the healthiest of people and immediately got us in a taxi to the apartment AND paid for the taxi…he knew this was all a supprime for my wife so kept all the secrets and even sang happy birthday with us about 6 times for every little moment she liked… he gave a tour with more singing jokes and happiness that made our stay … he got everything perfect… he organized and PAID for all travel we did and taxis (to the point sometimes we did not say we went anywhere just because he did so much nice stuff already) he found like 8 rooftop bars for us telling us his favorite aspects of each one…. He was constantly always polite and happy and helpful…the apartment was amazing and the pics speak for themselves …great location jacuzzi balcony comfy bed everything….but he made the stay luxurious….I’m sure I’ve forgotten something here as I’m writing this as quick as possible so he knows he was greatly appreciated and we haven’t forgotten his service… most pictures of awesomeness are on my partners phone so I’ll have to make do with pics on mine but amazing stay and place but more amazing customer service….the only problem is they haven’t made a statue of Odi outside the fancy classy apartments to commemorate his making your stay perfect…literally perfect ….oh and side note there’s and awesome massage place just behind the building too so you don’t have to walk far back to room after your turned to comfy jelly…but yeah AWSOME stay and build a statue of Odi in or near the apartments …if you go Budapest rich hotels are gd But this winsGuest review byRobertFrance

Plenty of selection and the property were very gracious and supplied me with vegan yoghurt as well. So very kind. Myself and my friend were given a very generous breakfast bag when we had to leave super early in the morning for the airport. Location was perfect (umbrellas available), outside the main city but train/tube rides seemed to be super fast coming back and forth. Location is right beside a shopping centre with great shops / korean skincare located as well / got my nails done inside the mall as well. (Transport hub for buses to airport and trains to the city located inside the mall!) Please for your own entertainment, kids or no kids, go to the Dino Park on top of the Mall. Use your phone to translate the explanations - someone has a sense of humour! A special mention to the assistance of the staff here. I had an item of clothing sent to me to use during my stay, I had however inadvertently left before it arrived (timing on my part was off somewhat!). Therein started the issue of getting back to my non EU country - the staff at this hotel were exceptional, patient and very kind. I successfully got my item back within a month. I had a great time. The solarium pool is 36C and not used that much. It is away from the kids area as well. The food both breakfast and dinner were well prepared and varied. They do not supply any beverages with dinner, so if you want water, you must pay. I didn't bother. My jr. suite was spacious and very comfortable to stay in. They have a mall whi.ch is walkable but not advisable because of the road. Taxi was cheap. The mera hotel was in a perfect location for sightseeing. Budapest is a very busy and interesting place to visit. Lovely to sit by the danube and watch the world go by. A must visit is the parliment building (we got tickets on line before we went) Gellert baths are good too. ( buda side) they have loads of sunbeds around the heated outdoor pool. Great for relaxing after sightseeing. Loads of good places to eat. I must recommend Ape Regina restaurant which is not far from the hotel. We went twice because the food was so good. Budapest is walkable (that's how we got around) but if you have problems with walking long distances, I would use public transport. We found Budapest to be a lovely city, exceptionally clean and friendly. The architecture is stunning. It is very easy to get around on public transport, reasonable and reliable. Would recommend a trip to the spa. Also would be woth pre booking trips such as the parliament as they are very popular. We would also recommend the tour of the opera house. People were generally rude especially at the Cafe Paris and the Terror Museum. Maybe like a lot of Europe cities , they don’t really want tourists anymore.
