The staff was super friendly. We rented bikes. There is a bike with a baby seat, one with a child carriage and another even a dog carriage. Amazing! We stayed for 3 nights with a 2-year old. Got everything we needed. A cot, baby bath, child seat for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the food. A lot of things to do in the area. We loved the fact that the hotel is so dog friendly. So many guests had dogs with them, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has a pool especially for dogs.

    Despite the language barrier, the host was extremely kind and was very accommodating. We communicated entirely with Google Translate. Beautiful location with tones to see in the vicinity, both historical and just in nature. The property is rustic and full of character. We felt so cosy there. She's done a great job at making it comfortable whilst keeping the traditional charm. The house stayed beautifully cool despite the 35-degree weather. The WiFi didn't work for us, but this may be because we have italian phones? We would definitely come back.

    We spent a family gathering at Kerca Bio Farm and it was the perfect location that met all of our needs. The houses are all lovely, each has its own unique atmosphere. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The farm is quiet and peaceful, perfect for recharging. Within walking distance you can reach the forest for a light hike. The Zöld Terasse offers tasty handmade food options. The hosts are very kind. I’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to visit it again in the future :)

    Excellent location with a breakfast place nearby. Very well equipped kitchen, nice and welcoming host, atmospheric and quiet place, warm and clean rooms. Parking in the garden is possible. You can also make a fire in the garden to prepare your dinner or visit one of the excellent restaurants/bars nearby. There is quality fast food near the lake.

    The separate kitchen was very well equiped. The bathroom and the bedroom was well equiped. All was very clean. The hosts tried to make this small place cosy and nice, so we can recommend it for a night or two during the summer.

    Magyarszombatfa is a small, quiet place with rural surroundings very close to the Slovenian border and about 40 kilometres from the Croatian border. Ideal for walking and cycling (take account of the slopes). Cycling and walking routes are signposted in the neighbouring town of Bajánsenye, however in Slovenia we did not find the cycle numbers (route 1). Shops and restaurants are very limited in Magyarszombatfa; you can find more shops and restaurants in Bajánsenye.
