When I checked in, I asked for some information about the massage. The receptionist remembered my request and introduced the masseuse to me while I was at the café. In the evening, he still remembered my room number when we went to have dinner - exceptionally professional! The room was clean and comfortable, the spa was enjoyable and super clean! There are restaurants around the hotel, the town centre is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The food (we had breakfast and dinner) was amazing, we could choose from a big variety of dishes, and the coffee was amazing! We went there by car; the hotel has its own big car park, it's safe and only the hotel guests have access to it by using a card which opens the gate. There are different facilities for small children, the best is the bouncy inflatable castle. The hotel has everything our kids love, an indoor playroom, a room for table tennis, a normal pool and a kids pool, good food. My husband and I love using the saunas, the cold pool and the outdoor jacuzzi. We ordered lunch at the pool a few times, which was nice. We also both went for a massage. Nice city, definitely suitable for a holiday. The center near the port is beautiful, well-kept. Around the road to the port there are many options to satisfy your thirst and hunger. I found service in Balatonfüred uneven. The low point was restaurant Il Lago at the lakefront: despite looking inviting, the service felt dismissive and the prices were high for what we received. Nice and serene place by the lake. A couple of restaurants by the lake, which was nice. People there don't speak english, but most know german.
