- From $262.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,348 reviewsThe room was very big, the bed was huge and very comfortable. Everything was clean, the AC worked fine. Nice balcony with two armchairs and a table. Complimentary water and beverages was replenished daily. In the evening you would also get a small sweet treat to your room. Fantastic breakfasts, with a lot of ready options and live cooking stations. Two restaurants - "Sands" with an ocean view, and Kunyit with traditional dance shows in the evening. I usually chose Kunyit for breakfasts, because it was less crowded. Dinners in both were excellent. In Sands you'll get also some western food options for lunch/dinner, while Kunyit is Indonesian/Asian focused. I recommend having dinner in Kunyit at least once, to experience the hands washing ritual and to enjoy the dance performance. Spa services amazing - great massages! A couple of pools to chose from, all surrounded by lovely lush greenery. I loved the big cushions in the pools - perfect for laid back floating. There is a lot of sun-beds around the pools, so no problem with finding one. Frozen fruit skewers were a nice refreshing treat. I ordered a breakfast box one day and there were at least 6 or 8 options to choose from. The amount of food I found in the bag was surprisingly huge. Everything neatly and carefully packed. All the staff members are very kind, welcoming and helpful. I felt very well taken care off at all times! Whether in the restaurants, by the pool, at the spa, at the reception desk or at the concierge desk - everyone is genuinely friendly, focused on helping you and assuring you have the best experience possible. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe and under special care. The staff members remembered my name and were checking on me every day during breakfast. I had some lovely conversations with many of them. My biggest shout out and respect go to Mr Gunawan, who helped me in the middle of the night with an emergency situation I experienced! Thank you, Mr Gunawan!Guest review byMartaPoland

Not for someone who likes a calm stay - too crowded, too many shops selling the same stuff, all the people trying to scam you. luckily we had one honest taxi driver who told us not to buy anything on the streets - buy all your souvenirs from Krisna Oleh Oleh - fixed price and ends up cheaper than the street. Its ok for young party people. Would rather stay in Nusa Dua for a nice calm stay.Guest review byDINESHUnited States - 10.0
Canggu has everything I look for in a Bali trip.
Canggu has everything I look for in a Bali trip. Great waves for surfing cool beach clubs all-day cafés amazing food and some of the best spas I have ever tried. The vibe is laid back but still full of life. Everything is super close so you can walk or ride a bike and never get bored. One minute you are in a quiet rice field the next you are in a trendy restaurant or catching sunset at the beach. It is a place where you can relax have fun and feel like you are part of something cool without it being too much.Guest review byMihaiRomania - 2.0
Don book this hotel. The staff is horrible.
Don book this hotel. The staff is horrible. The worst is the f&b manager . The hotel is operating without a GM and no one is bothered about guest experience. Don make a mistake staying here! Don waste money as it is the worst hotel for the rate one pays. No cutleries , staff not bothered, no replenishment , just horrible in summary !Guest review byKiranMalaysia - 8.0

Parts were lovely and the cliffs around the temple were amazing but be prepared for lots of traffic (especially scooters) so it takes a while to get anywhere and the public bits are a bit grotty. Couple of amazing places to eat (eg Nourish) and plenty of lovely massage options - we went to Zahra. Highly recommend going to a sunset dance performance - absolutely amazing!Guest review byNZ PennyNew Zealand - 10.0
I love Legian, the beach is magic.
I love Legian, the beach is magic. The western restaurants and cafes and shocking, food is rubbish, over priced, lazy staff. Filthy smokers never consider non smokers and feel it’s ok to smoke while people eat. They ruin this townGuest review byDanielleAustralia - 4.0
We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area.
We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area. It was not for us. The area is dominated by large resorts and the main activities centre around surfing, or hanging out in a pricey resort/bar, or perhaps viewing artifical tourist sights. Admittedly some resorts are very nice and have nice views but it's not really my style of holiday to spend several hundred dollars to lounge on a sunbed on the coast. There are plenty of higher end places to eat in this area, but I didn't go to Indonesia to eat western food. The Indonesian options feel very samey and were better in other areas with more Indonesian diners. Even Ubud with its hordes of people felt more authentically like Bali than this area does. In all, if you want a resort style holiday or are a wealthy surfer then this is the area for you. If you want to mosey around and get a feel for Bali it is not. For other watersports, it would be better to go north e.g. for diving/snorkelling. Or go to another island altogether.Guest review byAlexanderNew Zealand - 10.0

Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!Guest review byhumphrey - 8.0

We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. We were close to a laundry however and their prices were amazingly low and their services was excellentGuest review byGlenysNew Zealand - 10.0

Munggu and Seseh are at the leading edge of the ever...
Munggu and Seseh are at the leading edge of the ever expanding Canggu and for me by far and away the best areas to stay. Roads are less busy, lots of very stylish options for coffee and eating but still amongst nature and rice fields - though these are disappearing fast even here! Harder to find accommodation but well worth the effort if you value the qualities that made Bali famous in the first place. Still clinging to it's authenticity despite all the construction endemic in Canggu!Guest review byNeilGermany
