The location is stunning right in among the rice fields of the farm. I enjoyed exploring the area and hiked to Munduk Village and 3 different waterfalls from the hotel. I also did a guided walk of Lake Tamblingan with the owners son Willy. This was one of the highlights of my trip to Bali. I loved learning about the community here and the importance of the lake and forest. The sunsets were incredible from my balcony. I was sad to leave this magical place.

    Everything! The villas were beautiful and spacious! The grounds and gardens so green and well kept. The beds were huge and we slept like babies, as it was sooooo peaceful. We loved the private pool with lovely warm water. The WiFi was great. The service and staff spectacularly friendly. Lots of activities on offer. The snorkelling organised from the hotel to Menjangan island was so amazing, we went twice! The restaurant was amazing too. Some of the best food we had in Bali. And so much more, we don’t have space to write about. You have to stay here to experience Pemuteran!!! We will come back!

    Taman Sari is a wonderful hotel. We booked a 3 bedrooms villa at first, we found there is one room on the 2nd floor. Because my friends do have a lot of luggages, the hotel upgraded us to four rooms villa for free. Which is really sweet. I regret that we came here during the rainy season and the weather was not particularly good. I will definitely come back to Taman Sari next time if I have a chance! Thank all the stuffs very much

    The staff were incredible, helping look after my mum when she was ill and changing the sheets more often than they would normally have to. The included breakfast is delicious and sets you up for the day with a healthy start. The swimming pool is also very large and refreshing and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. One of the best places I've stayed in Bali and I'd highly recommend!!

    Really enjoyed snorkelling off the beach restaurant, though I think they could just provide the snorkels for free. Walking the roads and trails was fun, as was hanging out at the tower, watching hawk-eagles and swifts fly past. We had a friendly staff member look after our 2 year old for a day while went on a bird excursion, and that went very well. He loved her.

    We just had an awesome stay at Tirta Sari. We had just traveled for a few nights extensively and needed to relax and recooperate and Tirta Sari was the perfect place. Beautiful gardens, a gorgeous pool and a great spa. The rooms were nice and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend.

    Very quiet and untouched part of Bali. Beautiful, long, near-secluded, coconut-tree-fringed beaches in Kaliasem, just ten minutes out of the main Lovina strip area. Local, traditional warungs on the beach. A world apart from Canggu, Kuta, Seminyak. It still retains the old Bali charm. Very, very laid back.

    The area he’s like Bali 40 years ago. You are better off staying at a resort on the northern end of the beach, they are beautiful clean and with excellent food and staff, and away from the mosque. Eco Taste, Dimpil Beach Bar, Wrung Rama, The Sage excellent places to eat with cheap healthy fresh food. The Taman, Sari resort & Amertha Resort also have excellent food but more expensive.

    Nice relaxed rural/coastal Bali, great place to just wind it back and take time to slow down. Snorkeling, temple tours both great, hot springs are truely hot and well worth the visit (anytime of day or night), but I’ll mostly remember the friendly approachable people in the neighbourhood. Lovely people (great food)

    Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

    It is great to stay in the north of Bali! Getting around takes time and requires a private driver. Management & Staff was just Wonderful and made all our wishes come true. If you don’t have your own wheels, you are mostly reliant on local transport/drivers,to get to a number of attractions in the area. We enjoyed a visit to the Lakes and the Botanical Gardens which were very peaceful. Walking the 5 local waterfalls from Golden Valley was a highlight, which took us most of the day. Next time I would go on the canoes on Tamblingan Lake. It looked like fun.

    Quiet and peaceful little town - reminded us of old Bali, when it was less busy and built-up. Plenty of restaurants and cafes without the hassle and noise of Legian, Seinyak etc. Not the most exciting place to shop, but great for peaceful walks along the beach. Very relaxed and laid-back atmosphere.

    It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts of Bali. The downside is it takes 4 hours due to traffic leaving the south and slow moving traffic heading up into the mountains due to winding, narrow roads.
