I only ever stay in Sanur for a night or 2 when catching a boat or for it's proximity to the airport. It use to be a bit quieter than other areas in the south/Denpasar region. It's now way too crowded and the traffic is just crazy. Won't stay there again.Guest review byLaurie - 10.0

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer.
Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer. There is history, culture, good food and places with open space, great views and room to walk if you know where to look. It's also a great base from which you can visit other areas and enjoy unique experiences with little travel time. It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. Sanur is a great holiday spot in Bali. No noisy beach clubs and heaps of restaurants that range from high end to family owned warungs.
