Fantastic ! ...Pitty that were only two nights. The boys there ( the hosts) were fantastic, also give us the option for an indonesian dinner. It was tasty and interesting. Also very tasty the breakfast -some indonesian sweets absolutely amazing. About the location - it was near Borobudur, so we take a walk and enter the gate near the souvenir shops. The room was practically a house with a huge bedroom and huge bathroom. They have also pool , a dinning area , a relaxing place, bicycles for rent and rice field ....at the gate.

Margo helped me with everything I needed, even before arriving to Karimunjawa with the ferry tickets, also organizing daily transfers by motorbike to Kemujan for diving (thanks Wawan). For breakfast you can choose from a variety of options, coffee is great. Possibility of delicious dinner that is different everyday, mostly vegetarian options. Perfect laundry service.

Wonderful trip to just relax and get away from it all. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights and feel like it wasn't enough. The food was amazing with picturesque views, the room and bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful! Special mention for the spa, so fantastic we went all 3 days! Also recommend going to their sunrise resto on top of a hill for the great views.

The Narayana Hotel and the staff were absolutely fantastic. I can't thank them enough for making mine and my family's stay such a pleasure. We were there for 10 days. The rooms were cleaned and continually cleaned as and when we wanted them. The restaurant was a lovely place to sit and eat. The food fresh, tasty and well presented. The staff were welcoming faces everyday and helped me by organising our daily outings, doing more than I expected them to do without me asking. The hotel is in a great location with Ben's boat bar alongside to have a drink and watch the sun go down. We will be returning next year.

    A big shout out to the staff. Literally everyone, from the security to reception desk and from restaurant to housekeeping, helped us with a smile and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. A sandal of my wife broke so I asked for a repair shop but instead, they fixed it immediately. Internet in a part of the hotel stopped working, while they were fixing it they even offered a room change for the last night. That was not needed, but it shows how they value their guests. It’s for the staff I give this hotel a 9. The location is great, breakfast is decent, food in restaurant is tasty. Room is spacious, though needs some love. Bathroom became one lake after my daughter took a shower ;) Oh and lovely live music each Friday at their sky lounge. For this price, it’s a ln absolute steal!

    A beautiful stay in the Tawangmangu Mountains! Lovely and very polite staff will invite you to have a pleasant stay here. Breakfast Buffet ist really huge and very delicious, also live cooking stations available- buffet is Western and Asian style. The rooms are spacious and the garden and Pool area is designed with much love for Detail- the panoramic view especially in the mornings and evenings to Mt. Merapi are one of the Highlights! In the evening you have the possibility to get dinner Buffet- its just great and very delicious. We felt really at home and the staff was helpful in every Situation - we will come again :)

    Everything is perfect but only one thing that I have really uncomfortable. That is internet connection !!!!! I can not fully watch YouTube or Netflix bt my laptop. Wifi signal continously has drorpped so it is very difficult to watch any streaming. Even I have to access to my company web for working. Something is happened. I can not work because very low level of internet connection and internet speed. I didn't have any internet issue when I was in Jakarta and Borgor during similar times (I was in jakarta and borgor one week ago) If you have to do something with internet, I can not recommend this hotel. It is very very terribles

    Authentic introduction to a broad Javanese experience from traditional markets to modern shopping malls. Ancient palaces , streets packed with carts and traders , a look into the past. Very safe with smiles and welcomes everywhere . Truly lovely people , helpful and kind, anyone we came into contact with, staff, shop keepers, drivers - whatever - were overwhelmingly polite and caring with manners and curtesy . Plenty to see in the area. A day trip to Prambanan a pleasant 90 minutes through interesting landscape.

    Great Island, Very Beautiful. Nice and quiet, overall very clean (by Indonesian Island standards) and not overcrowded. Quite time consuming to get to which is why it's quiet. Also takes a bit of exploring on the island to find the best beaches and hidden away spots, which makes it even better! Good Diving and Snorkelling at the outer islands. Friendly locals and nice places to stay. If you have the time I would highly recommend a visit to this island, you won't be disappointed, but allow time to go exploring as the best parts of this island aren't in the main town! Also, you must go on a boat trip to the surrounding islands to truly appreciate the area.

    Karimunjawa!!

    Karimunjawa!! Very few have heard of these small islands off the North coast of Java, an archipelago of 27 islands, most of them in a marine reserve. The main island is reached in 2 hours by a speed boat, from the quaint port of Jepara. Stunning is not describing the islands, jaw droppingly perfect scenery, white beaches, emerald turquoise waters, picture perfect handcrafted wooden jetties, snorkel waters so clear to see the stunning corals, multicoloured fish, a truly magical experience. The Mangrove Park, a 2km trekking is in a remarkable setting, stop for grilled fish, under the call of prayer, and run for cover from the thunderstorms. A scooter gives you the opportunity to visit this verdant island of lush vistas and mountains, small business like cashew roasters, or side road café, perfect examples of why you should sometimes leave the crowds behind, and go off on an adventure beyond the bounds of crowded beaches. It should not be a surprise that Indonesia holds some secrets in its islands, after all there are over 17,000 of them! The island of Karimunjawa is, for now, a proper hidden gem, crystal clear waters, vivid rainbow coloured coral reefs, and the picture perfect postcard Eco Casa Resort, a small island life feel, the secret is out!

    The village is nice and growing economically, cabins are nicely built. I think the village authority can make a better scenery by managing the pipes and cables. The jeeps are ok, but will be more interesting if it is well-maintained, i.e. the seats. agro tourism is one of the potential that government can consider to expand the culinary is also nice, but should be closed and keep warm, especiall those who provide banquet. May be, if possible, it is good also to have visitors looking at the PLTP inside.

Showing flourishing signs of rejuvenation, this city has one of the best preserved and restored historic centres in Indonesia, with charming streets, colourful neighborhoods, secret alleyways, flower markets, lush gardens and parks, perfect climate and gracious people. With its harmonious blend of multi- culturalism, multi- faiths and multi- backgrounds, the melting pot of Semarang is a true microcosm of Indonesia as a whole, from ancient temples, to ancient churches, monumental museums, all the way to modern-day Middle Eastern-Javanese mosques, showing that the assortment of religious places, are as striking as they are different, and the fact that they all exist in the same city is a true testament to the acceptance, harmony and appreciation for diversity of Semarang. Amazing, thank you Up-Peak hotel, and it's welcoming staff.

    Solo is a more traditional alternative of yogya, both ofer recidence of royalty the sultans ketaton in yogya, the sunsns residence in sole, both have lesser royalty recidences; the paku alamin yogya (clised for public), the mangunegaran in solo (open to public, dance practice on wensday). The big ineternational know tempels of Borobudur, Prambanan, and candi Sewu are a bit cliser to yogya, the unknow mountain tempels of candi Cetoh, and cand Suku, both set in a beatuful cool mountain setting closer to Solo. Thou all can be visited fro. Both citys. The fames ones are crowling with tourist, while the moyntai tempels ate rarely visited. Solo has a much more traditional feel, yogya a more modern one, in high season yogya has a much higher comercial presure to wester tourist, in solo you hardley see westeners (except for the art students) you can stay for weeks and not see a western face😉. Both pruduce batik, in yogya much souvenir products, however the best deals on batik you do in Padar Klrwrr i solo. I would advise: visit both and see the diference youreself (i've been doing that for 30 yrars, personaly i prefere Solo over Yogya.

    It is an authentic Indonesian experience with some beautiful beaches and great snorkeling and island trips. It is just on the brink of exploding into a major tourism destination so check it out before it gets too busy. The opposite of Bali- still the real Indonesia and a National Park
