We had a fantastic stay in Nusa Penida. I don't often go to the same spot, but here I would like to make an exception. The cottages are on the beach, have all the comforts and very good beds. You can hear the sea in your cottage and when you leave your room you are right on the beach with a fantastic view. The staff are incredibly friendly. Breakfast is also highly recommended and the hotel's restaurant is also extremely good. Just keep in mind that if you want to see the island this is not possible on a day trip. They divide it into an east and west tour and you can't combine them. We will definitely come back when we come to Bali again. Highly recommended!

Brand new establishment. 5 min walk to Kelingking beach. Sparking clean. Nicest and caring hosts. Nyoman, host and the manager,- can take care of all your travel arrangements - transfers, sightseeing and meals. He helped us to choose the cool place for a diner for special occasion and even gave us the scooter ride to/from the diner location. Will defently stay there again when in Nusa Penida.

The place is situated less than 5min with scooter from the restaurants and in a very peaceful environment among the palms. Everything is new and fresh. The bed is comfortable, the aircon works perfectly and you have shelves to put your clothes on. The owner and his staff are AMAZING! I would give them TWELVE points if I could! So sweet and service minded! They are still in a phase where new things comes in (I got a mirror in my room the other day ☺️) and they treat this place, and the costumers with love 🤗 I had the honor to be their first guest to order food (not breakfast) since they now started to serve some dishes if the customers want. It was good and to a very good price! The breakfast was nice and enough❤️

We had a lovely time at Maskot. We stayed a total of 4 nights. The rooms are quite fresh and really well kept. Be aware the are not fully “sealed” so if you are afraid of the chance of getting small bugs in this is not your place. However, we just got the usual mosquito here and there but the is also a mosquito net around the bed. The bathroom is semi-outside. It’s great for ventilation and it’s also really fresh believe or not! There is a transparent roof so it is okay if it rains as well. The location is quite good too if you want to rent a scooter and explore the island because it is sort of in the middle. We could also rent a scoopy for 100k a day. There is a restaurant next door if you don’t feel like going for a drive to get food, but we didn’t try it so we can’t say if it’s good or bad. There is also a little shop just in front of Maskot where you can buy water, sunscreen, some snacks… The hosts were super nice and paid attention you our needs. They have a really convenient laundry service as well, done in the same day because they use the sun to dry the clothes. They cooked a simple breakfast for us every morning and also gave us some advice on where to go. Finally, they helped us book the ferry ticket and taxi to leave the island. Really nice stay in Maskot:)

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place is comfortable, clean, and perfectly located, but what truly made the difference was the kindness of the staff. A very special thank you to Viki, who was always so kind and serviable. She made sure we had everything we needed and went out of her way to make our experience unforgettable. The cottage is very beautiful and spacious. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot of flowers. It has a large and very clean bathroom with hot water. The house is air-conditioned, has a water heater, coffee and tea. Every day they made our bed and cleaned the bathroom and brought us fresh fruit and water. The owner is very friendly, flexible about time and ready to help. We also rented a scooter, no problem and it was cheap. Location is near port, you can go by walk it is only 2km.

    Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely wonderful. The property is very clean and authentically decorated, which gave it a special charm. We were warmly welcomed with freshly pressed watermelon juice, making us feel right at home from the start. The bungalow we stayed in was beautifully and warmly furnished, with a stunning view of the lush greenery. The open bathroom and shower added a unique and memorable touch to our experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to offer helpful advice and recommendations. The hotel also provides the option to dine on-site, primarily serving traditional dishes. We tried the food and did not regret it; it was incredibly delicious. Breakfast was included and offered a variety of options such as French toast, cheese toast, Eggs Benedict, and freshly pressed juices. We would absolutely choose this accommodation again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and authentic stay!

    We stayed in the superior rooms at La Roja. During our month long trip around Bali and the surrounding islands, this was by far the best accomodation all round. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and tidy, the grounds were very pleasant and well maintained, and the shared pool was lovely. The staff were extremely friendly from the get go, and were always on call to help us out with planning day trips/tours, drivers to local restaurants, ordering breakfasts, etc. we were beyond impressed with La Roja, they exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this accomodation to anyone planning a trip to Nusa Penida!

    The pool is nice with beautiful view. There's a puppy around the cottage, but I don't think the owner and staff taking good care for her. So if you're dog lover, kindly share some food for that puppy. For the owner and staff, please be kind to the puppy. At least feeding her daily, get a vaccine and then sterile for her healthcare. I saw many guests that staying in the cottage happy to playing with this puppy, hope that could consider for the owner or staff at the cottage

    Blue Lagoon is a hidden gem in Ceningan Island (Next to Nusa Penida). A perfect paradise with a magical ocean view! Blue wavy waters in the Bay are truly exquisite and give a tranquil vibe. We even spotted some turtles! Amenities in the resort were great, the restaurant was second to none with delicious food, the staff was friendly and provided a great service! We had a wonderful time during our stay! Highly recommended! (One of the best breakfasts We've ever had)

    The island is gorgeous, quiet compared to some areas of Bali, hardly any traffic. This hotel is so stylish and intimate, we loved the restaurant right on the beach and all the design elements.     you can see it in 2 days pretty much. We did find some great little restaurants. Coco Penida and Tropiz. food and service were excellent. Penida is a must see but probably once every blue moon is enough

    friendly, charming, plenty to see, however seeing so much rubbish / trash lying about took away some of the 'shine'. Possibly the establishment of an organisation ?volunteer or ?commercial to recycle plastics (bottles) could certainly assist in recycling some of the plastics. There was one eating establishment which was doing it's very best to get the message across about limiting / recycling plastics!

    The hotel is remote with one restaurant to provide all your meals there or in the room . No shops etc. You need a driver to take you to any temples etc. We couldn’t to any treking activity during our time as it was rainy. Nice to just chill. Lovely staff very helpful at reception and restaurant. Lovely views

    Becoming worse every visit! Congested and too many dogs, not controlled (rebirth)! Actually east side quieter and becomes better going to eastward on coastal road! Many tourists never even reach/travel that far! Less traffic , more nature, more traditional, but changing every day!!

    The most delightful accomodation. Local family run single room villas built in a quiet location with close mini mart in 5 minute walk. 20min taxi ride to Ubud for hustle and bustle of more western orientated restaurants markets etc.

    We did the diving course so 3 course + 3 days beaches are enough for a quick visit. But if you want to relax with the view there plan in more days. Be careful for overpriced taxis as there is no Grab or other alternatives. Take the scooter as much as you can.

    Great small island best stay here the longest part of your trip not the shortest, I was here 15 years ago and its hardly changed unlike the rest of Bali. Mushroom beach is defiantly the best place for lazy style island life! If you don't stay in a beach front you may be disappointed with the surroundings and unmade roads around Mushroom bay so stay as close to the beach as possible, Beanbag beach night dining and each beachside restaurant has a small camp fire on the beach at night. Same as everywhere in SE Asia a few steps off the beach and the warungs are 1/2 the price of beachfront food and drinks. Suits couples and families best as there is no nightlife at this end of the island although beachfront has live music most nights! I could spend my entire Bali trip on Lembongan.

    Cheap massages, lots of food markets. Was pretty dirty and busy. Great reef trips and amazing scenery on the east side of the island. Walk to Penida colada for a special meal on the water - sunset with dolphins 💕

    We explored the Royal Palace and grounds.

    We explored the Royal Palace and grounds. Quite interesting history of both important battles but also process of producing food. We also bought excellent gifts at nearby clothing stores. Heard about other activities but didn't have longer than a couple of hours.
