Everyone in town seemed to know the Yunna Hotel which was good. There were some events happening which made it more exciting to be at the hotel. I liked the staff who tried so hard to help me with some problems like getting the right bus to the next town. It is much appreciate.

    Beds are comfortable, facilities are clean, and the AC was very cold. The cafe at the hotel had some great food and coffee and for a good cheap price. The hotel is also only a 5 minute walk from the main bus station so if you have an early morning bus to catch this hotel is perfect! Also only a ~15 minute walk from the Lampung Museum.

    A typical Sumatran city.

    A typical Sumatran city. Overcrowded, dirty, largely derelict, and poorly maintained. Not a place to stay in for long, it seems to me. Wisely, l was just passing through so I have no idea of the local "attractions", but I doubt whether there are any. Getting around is best achieved on the back of a Gojek bike.
